no. wrong. that does not make the paint terrible. maybe you used gloss instead of flat, or maybe the wall just sucked the paint in, but people talk shit on Krylon like its a 96 cent can. stop with the excuses. your graff needs work, dont blame it on something else. work on a drop shadow, move the can faster on your outlines to clean it up, and dont make your letters so pointy. that said...you can develop most of that stuff on paper. thats why i said its a waste to paint when you dont even understand the concept of a drop shadow. if you rack your paint, then i guess its ok...but if you buy your paint like most beginners, then if i were you i&#39;d lay off the painting until i got better.





and trash, thats the best piece ive seen from you for sure. the letter structure has improved a ton, and you removed most of the unnecessary add-on&#39;s. keep it up. that said...i remember a few throws you posted a while back that were terrible. your piecing is great for somebody at your stage, but if you arnt well rounded as a writer, then you&#39;re not a good writer. you need to work like mad on your throws. do some simples or straight letters or something. if you arnt good or at least have a good grasp at all the elements of graff, then you are still toy. keep it up and work like mad on throwies.

try a different wall..u can use shitty paint but u need the proper wall..usually red brick eats paint, and some concrete walls.. ghetto paint is bad and will fade more than montanas/beltons due to the large difference in pigment ..but shitty paint still works good if u have teh right wall

How does that not make the paint terrible? I spray Kyrlon and I can watch it fade away. I spray rusto and it stays. I wasn&#39;t using that as an excuse for my graffiti, yes I know it needs work. I was just saying...I think Kyrlon fucking sucks.

it was the wall dude. yes, rusto is better than krylon so it might not have absorbed like the krylon did. but thats beside the point. the point is it wasnt the paints fault. it was a shitty wall. ive painted with krylon where it acts like total shit, and sometimes on a different type of wall it looks as good as rusto. ive painted shitty walls with rusto and it sucked it in, but also painted some good walls. it wasnt the paint. you need to learn that.

and i keep saying that you dont understand the concept of a drop shadow because you have your S filled in around, but dont have a shadow on anything else. it makes it look off, like its not done or just done poorly. also, drop shadows pretty much make any throw you do look better. it makes it look more full and pop more. if you understood how it worked i figured you would have either not filled in around your S and left it with just the fill and outline...or if you did fill in around the S, put a shadow on the rest of the throw. With just the S filled in around, it looks terrible. thats why i said you didnt understand it. because you didnt execute it correctly.

virtuallynameless: As for letter structure, work on the flow of the piece. It seems to get jammed up after the E. Work on your final halo so it has no drips. Also fill in your 3D completely. Don&#39;t use montana paint at this point. If you drip and can&#39;t fill in properly with montana, you need to practice with shit brands until you got can control down.

alright man i give some crites on that secound throw i say ditch that droping in word 3d effect cus its wack I mean Its origina and but the only reson you dont see anyone using it is because its kinda hard to do and it always looks(my opinion) and your other one isnt very good but its better than the other just keep sketchin and painting

My first "bombs " or not throw ups..ill get my throw ups once i figure out how to send pics off my phone. These were done in my youth room(church room for highschool) They asked me to do the room with one side grace the other truth..im totally new at this but they bought me all the paint so i did my best and yeah i used tape for grace but i drew them out with chalk first lmk what u think. Obvioulsy not done. I used krylon.

not a clean throw, but do a more solid aura, that light yellow thing there isnt covered well on that wall so you can see how you went back and forth on the aura (in the c) which makes it look really poor. details like that do ALOT to throw/pieces

No no no.. highlights are a good thing. You just need to learn to do em properly.

Heres a little tutorial.. they key is to get them looking crisp.. preferably without having to cut them.
For highlights use a NY fat or even a thin. Start your highlight by holding the can farther away from the wall to get a little fatter spray (although make sure the line is still crisp) and the move closer to the wall throughout the highlight ending it by releasing the cap when it hits the wall.

example. Make sure your hand moves in a smooth motion. Once you master it looks dope. Thanks to Dehs CME for the inspiration.

i like the colors on the first one, its the only one i can see, but i think you know this already but it would look so much bettter if your letters were all the same siz, and i think make it really big too that would be sick

lower case R&#39;s, especially that one arent recognisable enough for me, looks too much like a P. work on can control for the shadow fills and the outline goes soft in a few spots. colour combination is pretty nice though, dig that blue.

neza, im a sucker for the light blue (himalaya blue from mtn <333) dont like how the e&#39;s middle bar is sharp like that. would have look better if it was cut off before it ended and then made the top part abit longer.

Allright, I was trying to do this off a sketch and I noticed after the first letter I wasnt going to have enough room, so I just did the first two letters. And I skrewed up on the L a little bit. and half way through I went from like a drop shadow to 3d. so don&#39;t point that out again. Any other crits?
