u must break down a throwie for what it really is. a step up from tags. the basics of peaceing. traditionaly 2 colors. 3d, force field. keep your letters simple, a throw up should be simple. dont get all crazy, because its just harder that way. worry about wild ass throwies when u can handle it u will know, no one will have to tell u. for now keep it easy. get it clean. look at a bunch of other throwies and keep practiceing, just dont post every try here. once u get something u think is ill, post that. if u think it's shit what do u think we are gunna say? use your head. this gos for anyone trying to paint throwies. also, after your outline and fill, be sure your shit is dry, or its just gunna be a drippy toy mess.

but if u can paint clean, it really dont matter if u got shit letters. this is why u must stay with your book, get your fundimentals down. progress natrualy. most of u kids are like 13/the younger crowed. u got plenty time to go out and get arrested slingin paint in the streets. take your time. perfect your game.

knox my advice is: sketch and try a lot of new things untill you`ve made sumthing that you really like... than draw the same sketch a vew times untill you know how to do the outlines and than go out and paint... i would also make the letters the same size and less blocky..

knox, not feeling your n's. The only thing i can say is look at the top left of your n, then look at the bottom right of your n, dont they look pretty even? if you made the left side a little shorter or used different N's it'd look better. To me they look like small h's.

Alright I got a question, I've been sketching and spraying under bridges for the past like 6 months, and now I want to do my first "throw up" on the streets, the reason it's in quotes is because this throw up is going to be huge, like I'll need a ladder to do. It's going to be on the side of a building right where everyone can see it, seriously this building gets heavy traffic around it until night when there's no one. In most time it would take me about 2 min to do just the outline.

The wall is blue, I originally wanted to do a white fill with a black outline, but doing the fill would take FOREVER. So I'm thinking I just outline with white, and leave the fill blue (the color of the wall originally) then the areas around the letters (using fat caps) I'll just spray that black.
Overall it should take me no more than 5 min to do.

You guys think it's a smart idea?
Or should I make the letters smaller.

Stick to drawing and getting the basic and flow of letters going.
As in don't have your N I think it is N your lastletter anywayz go all the way to your first.. And not so leaning to the one side. But yeah keep it up man just stick to paper.
