Yeah, I know I'm a bad piecer (I'm a pretty good bomber though), and I was experimenting a new lettering style. But I didn't want it to be too readable 'cuz I wrote my real word and not a ghost name, so I don't want it to get noticed too fast on the internet since I started to write it 3 days ago. ;)

And I don't even know why I decided to paint that one 'cuz I made sketches that were way more nice... Not to mention that the sketch I made doesn't even look like the piece I painted.

the wood has nothing to do with your letter structure. which is what the main problem is here, among other things.
the letters themselves need work. just stick with simple, non-graffiti type letters. then go from there. adding extensions and flow and all that jazz.

I know these suck so I don't need crits saying such. I'm just playing with the paint, seeing how it works, what it does, and the like. Basically so far I've learn painting on a wet surface is not good and that stock caps suck ass.

Well I did get a rush, it was fun, I was a lil worried but not scared, the paint felt... weak and barely came out (stock cap I assume,) and the paint didn't do much.

The next morning my wrist hurt and I couldn't figure out why until it finally dawned on me, pressing that cap down wasn't something my hand is used to doing.

This is all stuff you guys probably take for granted, I dunno, but for me this isn't about 'getting up,' or getting known. I don't give a fuck if I end up painting 500 times and still no one has heard of GIG, that's fine by me. I'm not doing this for fame. I'm not trying to make the next OBEY or be as well known as... REVOK, EYE, SAVIOR, or CHIP7, I'm doing this for me.

everybody wants to get up gig, but you gotta get your letters down more. before you hit the streets.

thicken the bars, sketch them 100 times and see where your at then. add a 3D or drop shadow. fill the entire thing, grab a second color and do an outline. forcefield too.
