yeah the S got fucked, same with the drop shadow, I didn't know what I wanted to do with it. But as far as the S goes, It fit a lot better with the original peice I did on paper but I fucked up both the top and bottom of the S, the top was supposed to be very similiar to the top of the K and the bottom, well that just needs a shit ton of work. And I also agree, I should have picked up a can of some dope bright color to outline it but I decided not to lol

Squint that character is actually pretty cool, especially using only one color, you should do more, and full color. But I there is a lot I don't like about that piece, that Q has the weirdest extension I've ever seen. I don't think those two tiny letters are a good idea either, especially done in the same color as the final outline (although I can get it if your on scraps or something), also your going kinda over board on those drips.

So he dipped and gave permission to a friend of mine to go over it. And then I just took it upon myself to go over that... Thanks man, I can def see what your saying. Especially with bombs, ive always had an easier time painting them then drawing them, just some of the motions you do on a wall with a can are alot more easy and have a lot more flow then when sitting with a pencil or marker or whatever.

I had to paste a few pictures together to get the panoramas. It was getting dark and the flash sucks on my camera so it wasn't showing up from afar. Got bored. Rolled some blunts. Grabbed some cheap ass Colorplace white and some Rusto Black and Yellow. I don't care if the fill/lines are grimey. This freight was right near the employee parking lot and it was punch out time. I was movin' pretty fast. I would of liked to do the whole car but I didn't wanna' go over a piece on the left end part of the freight.

A half year later, I'm barely gettin' respect. But I'm gettin' a little something better than before. Looking back, I fuckin' sucked bigtime. And you know what, I still fuckin' suck. But it's the best thing that has ever happened. Them *****'s served me a reality check, a dish well served cold. You can't have that mentality when you first start out. You gotta' be grindin' son. Earn that respect.

The point you're at in the game is where the men are seperated from the boys. Most people quit here. You wanna' be a king? Be ready to put in the work. It don't come over night. It don't come over a warm summer of bombin'. It takes years of hard work and dedication.

Edit - One more thing. I noticed you were painting between trains. Like between two rows. Man, you do what you want but that's not a good idea. It limits your view, gives you only two escape paths, and sets you up for an ambush. Ambush by cops, yard bulls, hobos. I dunno' man. I've done it and had too many 'bo's pop up outta' no where. You do what you want but take this into consideration.

thanks i totally agree i realized today that i need alot more work my buddies at work all tell me its so good and obviously cause its mine i like it so i think i got a lil to cocky thinking my shit dident stink . i go with my girl alot cause shes strait up she likes it but says i have the potential to be way better and she sees it every time i go out . im in a testing stage right now cause i wanna try new things i will definitely never quit cause some guys are hating i paint cause i love to paint and to say a big fuck you to cops , and the action shot comment makes sense i dident see it that way ill just keep at it and let my paint talk for its self good or bad at least im painting rain sleet or snow not to much in the wind though thanks for the tips respect

The same kind of happened to me, in the way that I thought I was alright til some guy told me to throw my shit in the trash. At first I got pissed at it, but I'm glad he said it; it helped me progress a lot. In the months I've been on BS, I've gotten much better.

I agree that you should hit the books before you paint too, but it's not like I went and tried some shitty style on a wall. It's just a face I drew in the woods. I think people who are just starting should paint on plywood or something. Like fury said, your not gonna get can control by sketching. If your really good at pieces in black books but can't do a straight line and have no drips with a can, then those sketches don't mean much. An even mixture of both is good. I would say I have decent can control that I got from painting

I keep sketching simple 'R's like that on paper but I feel like the backside of the 'R' is so plain because it's just a flat bar. It looks good on there cause the 'I' covers that back bar. Any suggestions?
I was thinkin' about bringin' the bottom tier of the 'E' out further than the middle. So it resembles an 'E' more.
