You're right man, those little cases with like 10 different grades are a bit of a waste. You're only actually going to need 3 of them, 2H for really like shit and 2B for really dark shit then just an HB to pick up any slack in the middle. Even then that's more than you need. The ratings or numbers or whatever are actually how hard the graphite is, hard is the lighter ones - H.whatever - and soft is the dark - B.whatever. But yeah you're totally right, simple is best.

At first when the thread just opened it was filled with amazing artwork and browsing through it gave a lot of inspiration to the other people in the toy forum, but as time went on slowly people have been snaking there way in here.
This thread if kept open is for the best of the best work. there is only a handful of people on this forum who should be posting in here because they are doing next level shit on a conistent basis and are posting finished colourd work. I cant even think on how many times I would come in and see a post saying well heres half of a sketch i did with a highlighter while walking home from school and it was just garbage, just becasue you can draw good shit doesent mean you should be posting everything you do during the day in the thread. We have threads already for all the stuff posted in here so why cant we just go back to how it was so we wont have so much internet egos, its like this thread is vip thread of the toy forum now, and slowly each of the other threads are going to shit, wee need to have a balence of good writers critting and helping people out in the normal threads so they dont go un balenced. I'm gonna wrap this one up because I know this will probably go unread, if I type a mini novel but the for the internet ego's this thread is fueling and the shit is being posted it will never be what it used to be virus so i suggest its best on just to close this. The people actually putting in time and effort and posting good shit in here can get into the big boy thread if they wanted to, now days nothing intermediate gets posted.
