meanmug - i think that would look dope with a nice thick line all around like on your E. and im not a fan of your letter structure but i can see it slowly improving

Kew - its not bad at first glance but your structure is completely haggard, i can see what youre trying to accomplish but you really need to go back to the basics for a while longer to get a true understanding for the letters you have to work with. once you have a better understanding for the movement of the letters your working with try applying more advanced bars to the structure, and then advance towards connections/add-ons and so on.

virus - welcome back, looking forward to seeing your exchange, i cant remember seeing anything youve sketched to be honest.

alts - loving the safe sketch keep up all the burning sketches man, even though you were already more advanced than prety much everyone in the inter thread when you started posting here i feel like you're still improving and your sketches are becoming noticeably better. only thing im not a fan of at all is the purp and green in the background, but who am i to say lol i fuck up all my colour combos

Actually, it's pretty much completely bitten, except for a few extensions, the R, and the I. haha. I really wanted to get into this style, so I drew it to understand it more. Woony - he is right, that is all off, you should post in the toy section. The letter proportions are all off, the E at the end is stupidly fat in comparison to the other letters, the eyeball is played out and poorly executed, the proportions of the L are really bad (a huge fat downward bar and narrow across bar and silly pointless extension at the top) and the Z is awful. That is assuming it says Loze, because that is the closest thing I can make out of it.

and i realy dont think my shits worthy of the big boy thread, most of my shit has at least one or two fatal errors in structure or flow ruining each piece (imo) usually in my R's. and i dont get crit in the other thread any time i post there where as this is a thread for improvements upon an intermediate style where i believe i am at.

yep I know that which is why I rarely use bars while doing my pieces I work more with shapes and abstraction, bars are for simples and for learning once you have structure down you can move away from composing everything with bars.

But solid work with structure will always burn, to be honest I am not a huge fan of MSK I dont really like Augors style much, Saber either and I certainly dont like Retina's stuff, Rime burns though, look at Bates his work is solid structure with Bars but I prefer a lot of European graf anyway.
