Zoner- Fucking dope as always, the only thing I would throw in, is to fill the negative space between the main vertical bar of your R and the kick, it would not only help the flow, but would help with symmetry, and would look sick. My two cents, feel free to do what you do though, because that shit is working. Your sickest piece I've seen is that second sketch. Keep up the good work.

as you said id rework the placing br real close from there on the get loose and the n and s are ugly. i mean even though your letters coming from top goin down they should flow the same direction b r s leaning to the left a i n to the right..or work the transition..i like the skull, damn he has lots of teeth..

and i agree, zoner you should fill the space looks a bit wired, the second sketch is sick but the z is a bit fat..like oner have slim central elements just not the z.

I agree that you dont have to do what "people likes", because all people here is so much worry about the letter structure, and they dont think in other things like "how it would look on a wall?" It happens a lot with me, the people say i have good paint skills, but bad letters...
maybe thats right, but because i worry more about painting it than sketching it
But thats not excuse to you for do shit pieces... they doesnt have any style, i have seen graffitis that i dont like them at all, but they have style.

I do agree I think it does look like he has been influenced by my letters, I wouldn't call straight bite or anything I don't think I am established to be claiming my own unique style, I don't have a problem with anyone taking influence from my letters, I am glad to help anyone coming up, just try to develop it into your own style.

I think it is the little lip bits that remind me of my style, it is how I do the tops of my As and Ss and even my T, so yea does look similar, also loking back at it, the straight bar off the bottom of the S is very similar to how I do my S as well.

And it looks like Gekoh, but I like that sketch. But not really feeling those GOT bombs.
And I actually paint to the guy that was questioning that. Not as much as the next guy, but I have a lot of practice to do before I get in the streets full time.

it does say Gekoh... a name i was messing with... but couldnt get the K down... i think i put Exume, a few Resin/Resn, Rewl, Mark, RE, and them shit up there.. i did them all... just.. cant seem to find the right style for these letters..

Tofe- Your working with bars but there all outta wack. Work on letter flow. They should all have a simmiler lean and tilt. The word sould flow, It just seems your sticking bars everywitch direction, Keep some bars horizontial to balence things out, I wouldent say its intermediate quite yet. s good example of basic letter flow is Redeyes stuff.

Redeyes- Just keep on working your style out, you got the fundamentals of lettering, now you just gotta make it your own and comeup with idea's

Youth- Not really my style so im not gonna crit.

Evil- Loose the connections and addons, I think what you need to work on is widening some of your bars up, and working with other styles. Not to say that style you have isent good but i think you could progress your style by dedicating to learn other shit and taking stuff from other styles.
I've been seeing you up alot over the past couple months props on the work.

Bilnek. I think if you tweaked the general look of the stles to more flowey and a softer letter forum it would turn out dope. I'll sketch some shit up for you in abit.

Deco-one- To many styles to look through, its going for you but i would suggest trying to work on specific styles, some of the letters dont match up to well on some of the sketches and takes away from the over aestetics of the peice.

I'm pretty high so sorry if my crits are worthless ahaha

exactly, what happens in this day and age is that a lot of dudes don't have letters down, but they try and throw all this other shit (extensions, highlights, 3-d) on their pieces to make up for that fact. if someone can paint a straight letter that is truly stylin', i'd rather look at that for days rather than see some more unreadable west coast "looking like they are going to strangle me" pieces.

something im doing for a homies tattoo. got the idea from a couple of inspirations, anyways far from done but im bored.

At a glance, it's dope. But when you look closer, it needs mad work, especially with the sugar skull design. The "cloud" looking things around the eyes should all be touching the inner circles, not doing their own thing. The Angels A should be facing the same direction she is, so it seems to be in the middle of her forehead, not on the side, facing us. The designs should also be symmetrical, while the ones you have going on are asymmetrical, and look like random squigglies. The upside-down heart shouldn't be curved in that direction, unless the other parts of that are curved as well. The lips should be shaded.

i can tell you havent been drawing very long. because you lay down the hardlines then smother it over in the direction you wont it to face. giving it that look of the angles are at a distance. SIGH*

Add enough cholo shading to any sketch and it'll look good. the only part that I can't do well is drawing the cloth folds from memory.

Phillip gave you some very noble advice, there is no need for you do get defensive. There are many ways to draw, and that is only one technique, cross hatching for example requires no smudging or smoothing of ones lines.

something im doing for a homies tattoo. got the idea from a couple of inspirations, anyways far from done but im bored.

as a drawing it is ok, the lips eyes and nose look weird to me though, as a tattoo design it is played out and doesn't work, I hate that ultra-realistic tattoo craze at the moment, those tattoos won't stand the test of time.

You should listen to the crits that were given they were completely spot on, and just because you study art doesn't mean it translates into tattoo design.

Edit, infact the more I look at it the more flaws I see, really needs work the chin is weird and the farside eye is really really bad, looks like someone has smacked her in the face.

This was such a mofo to get a picture of, glared a lot, so this was the best i could do. Found the character on the left in an old print and the one on the right from a sketch by Da Vinci, made quite a few changes to the originals however. Anyway I'm tired night night

you have sweet letters. But you lack flow. your a is going one direction, but your g is point str8 up or down...Depending how you look at at it.
Try having you letters sway the same way you know. This might also help take out some dead space you have

Sorry didn't realize it was soo small. But yeah try to have your letters lean the same way. But their are certain circumstances in which you dont need to flow this rule, but for right now flow this rule..
