I'd say clean your lines up, if those are the final lines.
Also, I wouldn't really call myself an expert at piecing, but that piece lacks flow IMO.
Like, the RO is mad spaced out, compared to the NE.
The E itself is droopy, and is like cut off at the bottom, when the rest of the letters aren't, at least not as much as the E.

Zoner- I'm really digging how the blood doesn't separate into drips untill lower down on the page, that makes the effect so much more believable. I might have to steal that might I do blood on a peace.

Bilnek-I dont really like youe E's I think there to bent to the point they look like M's. and some of the bits and peices you put infront of your letts make it hard to read some of the other sketches.

Mogan-Move the letters closer and have them flow together abit more.

Well I'm just coming back after over 3 years of a break. I got way too far into drugs and quickly dropped writing afterward but I've gotten sober and decided to start up again.

Clout - I haven't seen any of your progression but I that's pretty good, I think maybe slightly varying the width in places (purposefully not just making one segment go from thin to wide to thin or something haha). Might also be nice working those a little thicker so there isn't as much free space in there but aside from that it's pretty nice.

Resk - I like it. Like Clout said I the T needs to be a little better defined and the top right of the S is a bit weird but I like the idea behind it and the U and K are real nice.

I know i sound like a dick but im being upfront and straight up to you people, Thats how people used to act on here befor things changed and a shitload of new kids joined. Lets keep the actual intermediate work in this thread and not just some sketch you threw together in 5 minuts. I remember when this thread first started, I used it for inspiration all the time. Now i just go on it to see if I can catch 1-2 good flicks.

Can our amazing mods please just start deleting all the shit that aint up to par, we can make this thread good again.

And clout, this is HEPOS he's got a real sick style and you're lettering could go that way with the skinny style you got there like Viruz was saying. But What I would say to work on most is keeping the lines straight without the marker bleeding and making dots on the page because if those outlines were cleaner it would be a lot nicer looking just from that. Also there's a couple places like the last bit of the bottom leg on the K where it doesn't seem like it should get as wide as it does and it kinda draws my attention there and it makes it a much more glaring oddity than it has to be haha. Other than that it's definately solid what you have going there. Keep it up.

I realize all those sorts of errors, but I find it hard to spend a whole bunch of time on all the extras, especially on words other than my own. And is it Rids, or RTDS? I dont know what the horizontal left bar of the R is doing either.

Haha yea it was done at like 2:30 in the morning after a day full of Vikodin from getting my wisdom teeth yanked yesterday so i was just fucking around hahaha but yea Kaiser that's pretty ill loving that style and ya I figured I'd have a comment a bout the extensions but I think with the way I wanna get them colored it should balance it out but who knows maybe the color will just make them even more pronounced and look worse...guess I'll find out tomorrow haha

That's what I was thinking. I mean yea the letters have the same style but there's a lot of weird extensions, weird bars that get fatter or skinnier, and 3-D that's really off. No hate Grater but I'd say go simpler with that and get your flow down better before adding a lot of crazy shit like that.

those bubbles are dopeshit.... the S would look good in a different piece, doesnt really flow with this one... the A could use some work, probably just dont do the separate crossbar, keep it attached to the side bars, u could make it match the K pretty well and itd be nice.

also not feelin that tag, looks like u went over the same line multiple times in a few places, tags should be fast, a one-stroke kinda deal, at least thats my foolish opinion

Ya Sekta it looks like each letter there kinda has it's own style so each letter doesn't really play off the others and that makes it seem pretty plain. The letters themselves aren't bad and good can control just seems like your style's all over the place.

Sekta that's a bit better and like you said the A is a little off. Also the K maybe don't quite connect the top bar back so it looks less like an R next time. I would love to see some sketches from you cause I wanna see where you're coming from as far as your style and what you can do on paper vs a wall so if you have any sketches please post some up. Ok that's not too bad actually but I'd say get rid of the arrows, coloring, and background and just focus on those letters. I'd say the B is the best letter there. Don't focus on your colors just focus on each letter and sketching them over and over. Try to keep the bars a little bit closer in size like the B isn't bad but that second E at the top it just gets really skinny for no reason. Also keep your proportions in check so if you drew a line on top of the letters and a line on the bottom they would be parallel.

Right now quantity is more important than quality (quality meaning fully colored pieces/backgrounds/characters/ect) so just keep banging them out. Hope that helped I'm exhausted so I hope it made as much sense here as it did to me haha.

mevs-your shading is pretty tight in the pieces you used it on...if you get your letters more complex while stickin to the structure itd be sick in combo with your fills

sinkilla-the melo pieces would be sick with more even flow the lettrs kind of stick out awkwardly in some spots or just make the O the same size as the MEL

the key is the paper not so much the pen. (for prismas and counter parts)

dont use thick sketch paper, I just just normal weight thin paper sketchbooks and I don't get much bleed from my prosmas or touch teins.

but no such thing as intermediate level pens, you should be able to do killer sketches with pound shop sharpies

thanks, i can usually rock that tag pretty well but the marker was dead so i tried doin it like scratchy or somethin and it came out like shit...

i like ur structure as usual but i think the bottom left bars of the E's should have the same (but opposite) angle as the bottom right of the S, who knows though

clout - props on progressing the way you've been going, i really love coming on here and seeing people improve their skills. diggin where your letters are goin, and i think they'd look sexy with some 3d on em :p. only thing that catches my eye, is to bend the legs of the a outward to make it wider, kinda like the other letters. don't know if that makes any sense i just think it would make it flow better. we should exchange if your down, hit me with a pm ese.. hiero hiero hiero!!

alts - you've got skills homie and i envy your motivation and drive to keep on producing stuff on a constant basis. i know your real comfortable with the style you've got going, but maybe try breaking outside your comfort zone and try something new? just my 2 cents mon.

Yeah, that was my first attempt at that style actually, and it was all freestyled. When I get down and actually sketch it all out in my book, a lot of the fuck ups should disappear, and I think that it'll come out a lot better. I also have a few ideas for edits to each letter, so that should fix a lot of stuff too. Thanks for the crits man. Any updates of your shit?
Also, finally starting to paint more, which is a plus :D

Edit: Easer, I really like that style, and I'm normally not a fan of shit with really thin bars, but you pull it off good. Although, the A seems a little weird. It's the only letter that is basically straight up and down. Throw a bend into each vertical bar to flair it out, and it would fit in better with the rest of the letters, in my opinion. Also, a red/orange fill and some drop shadow would set it off.

not quite sure what random extensions?
very few extensions on the freestyles. and every extension on the others are symmetrical and/or even and have a destination in which its going.
the black and white piece looks like alot of random, but says esker on the top and alaska on the bottom.

Sorry I tried to get it all, just kinda missed this one.
I like the structure and flow of the letters, but I know you probably see this coming. Your letters a tad bit to thin, thicken them up with the same letter structure and that shit should be on point.

nah i knew what you were going for. i used to have the same problem with an old name. ive realized capitals look alot better but ive also leared how to rock a decnt lower case one too. your throw's R on the last pic was legit though. the left bar was a bit thick though.

Just gonna speak the truth in here so dont get mad, I'm just saying this in general.

Its sad to see beef in this thread, when both people fighting should not be in this thread. Its pointless and just causes unneeded spam. People need to actually start posting quality shit in here or our mods need to become strict, this thread needs to have a really harsh filter on what can stay. Its constantly filled with hollow throws that took 5 seconds and sketches that are still in its rough stages. I know im guilty of posting wack shit in here but This there isent even intermediate works in here anymore cept for 4 people, Its rare to even see a colored sketch every week. The people who deserve to be in here know exactly what im talking about and the rest are just gonna bitch and beef me because they feel that there credibility of being here is gone.
The standard of this thread has dropped dramaticly.
