sear, your letters are really blocky and rigid. try using thinner bars and more negative space and it could allow you to add something more to it. try leaning letters different ways and flaring bars and such. all your pieces ive seen flow the same way, its pretty clean though so your halfway there

sorey, thing on the top of your S is awkward, your O is wonky, i know you did that on purpose for some effect but it just looks weird IMO. the R is good in the backbone and the head but the leg is awkward and the point fucks up the flow, the top of the E is a little shaky and the Y should be scrapped. But overall its good and you have an interesting painting style

You can see the letter yes obviously. But the shapes that make up the letters are messy and lack structure.

phazer: not much i can crit you on since that's a strange style but watch your structure i guess since that R and that E and A look wonky and paint wise i would bring the can closer so it isn't so dusty and do more cuts, you seem to have focused more on your bubbles then your letters, remember those are the most important part of the piece.

that's all on this page but according to this slotr arguement, i would say that slotr is one of those people you say are dope bc their style is so interesting and different but when i see him paint it looks unclean and usually really dusty, and i feel like the only reason that those letters were interesting in certain pieces was bc of the color combinations. Although i can't help but want to see more from the kid

Sear - completely agreed with Scissor. you letters are pretty much the same, kinda pulling a mone, and thatfill kind makes the letters less noticeable and you cant really tell unless you focus but those letters are pretty bad. crits not personal.

I dont really care what heads on here say mainly because most of em dont paint, my letters may be off at times because everything is freestyled on the spot and theres no going there with a game plan with color schemes its whatever comes to mind when i get the urge to paint, i can go on paper and bust out some super proper clean shit with crazy extensions and nice structure but its not the same as the style that ive come up with on the wall, and i like the style i got now mainly because that shit is all me, not influenced by anyone, just me progressing over time with the can, and for people saying my letters look the same, well talk to me when you paint 3 or 4 pieces a week and see how many new variations of letters you can freestyle everytime that dont look wack.

I honestly dont think you could say sear is the BEST who post in this thread. Yes hes good, he can paint super clean. Buuuut I agree with you the fact the his letter needs works a tad bit. A bit more flow in the S specificly as compared to his usual letters. I personally also think that wildstyle piece youve done on paper isnt even up to par with your paint shit. I like how your stuff isnt completely wild, i feel as if you might go more crazy as you go on in painting !
