use bars and for a shadow just make it in the middle. dont curve your bars so much just make it all simple

trust me... you cant just choose to jump into 3d styles and expect to get it... you need to know structure, and have experience in realism... its not like normal structure letters where anybody can jus drop a couple bars a fill and outline and your good to go... this takes a HELL of a lot of development...dont really want to say your wasting your time, but its the truth... try working with regular letter styles, and adding realistic 3d, try to get it as REAL as possible, then once you get that down, you can start warping your letters around and such...

bring the botom part of the L all the way down instead of starting up there and the same for the N and bring the middle bar all the way down.and the P.dont invert it.just do the letters simple.no bending or nothing for a little while.the develop the letters more.you need to develop a letter style before you bend it and shit.which is what im working on myself...

there are techniques to learn, not all that shit is talent, I think the talent lies in the self discipline to sit there and learn how and to acquire a skill for it, but there are some who can "see" the bigger picture a bit more clearly than others... unrelated to the development of skills

3d is off in some parts and lighting is needed for fully dimensional letters
you got the hang of it though if you keep sketching they will look really good, you should get some better pencils (ones with harder/softer leads/graphite's) for shading

ILikePie- not feeling the seyar (i think thats what it says) one, but the rasr ones good. idk, i kind of wish i got to see you put effort into a piece and have it not be like half colored and messy, you could definitely pull out some tight shit
smooth nuts- im a fan of your throw up style. idk about the K and A in the OKAE ones, but i definitely think the other two-letter OK throws are legit. Plus the 'DOPE' stuff is on point as always
acid demos- great pen work. no crits needed. keep busting them out
KnoxIn- its cool that youre so devoted to learning this style, but you're mostly thinking about making the letters look aesthetically pleasing, and not completely thinking about making them still look like words. try to keep away from putting letters in weird positions that make them lose their definition; for instance, the CJM one is hot up until the M, and then personally i wouldnt have known that was an M. keep up the progress though

Its already a do-able throw, but if you want to make it better i'd say try to make the letters look a little more similar to eachother. The bumps on the bottom of each letter do that, but the top everythings different, try to clean that up and it'll look fresh. not too much else id say for you to change though
