Mate if the spot gets painted frequently, for sure the cops will have a look every so often, that shouldn't stop you from painting it though.

Hey i got a question, What if your painting a bridge or some wall, and litterally its is covered inch to inch in peices..no wall is showing on it, and if you do a peice on it, then should it not be illegal? cause your painting ontop of paint that another person bought and painted the wall with, i live in canada.. ? anyone?

Well that would be logical but I don't think the cops will see it that way. To them it's just a teenager doin graffiti and they will arrest you whether the wall was pieced already or not.

Your still intentionally defacing the wall.

Doesnt matter if he has been defaced before or not.

I live on the edge of Cleveland out in the woods so I can just sit around painting under a bridge all day without anyone bothering me. One time I did get busted painting a bridge though and I got fined and had to do comunity service. If they can bust you for it they probaly will.

Technicly it's just as illegal to clean graffiti with out permission as it is to paint graffiti without permission. So yeah painting a wall covered inch to inch in graffiti is just as illegal.

i think that an old hard to get to bridge preferably under train tracks is a great place to learn but if you ever want to do anything legal u got to get known so go out at like 2 or 3 when yuo get better and just bomb alot of the time if you think youll get caught doing somthing u probably wont it takes a while for the cops to get there and people have to report it before the cops do anything

07-06-2005, 02:02 PM
i was paintin under a bridge once and this cop rolled up and because there were train tracks under the bridge, he didnt even have to prove we were paintin to arrest us, we talked our way out of it, but they called our folks

07-06-2005, 02:18 PM
Are the pieces good? Do they belong to your crew?

If they suck do it an jus dont get caught. You shouldnt paint over pieces of your own crew (durr) but you can paint over other crews pieces. Pisses them off big time tho.

Depends on where you live..
The bridge spots here are constatnly getting raided and making the news when there is nothing else to report..
YOU would think they would be chill but anything parallel to tracks will get you fined not only by the state but by csx which is wierd but. That's how it goes.. At least here.

man thats pathetic.. if you legalized graffiti, everyone would be up and at it, with more then 200,000 throws.. literally, we'd run out of room to bomb on. Four year olds would be bombing. There'd be no adrenaline rush to it, and there would be no challenge..

yeah i used to think they should leaglize it , but then i thought for 10 seconds , and was like NVM/

1st off, you know how many kids would try an do it, some might actually be good but 97.6345248995% would just be writing stupid shit up on the walls,

2nd, wheres the cream filling, where would the rush be? ,

plus there qwould be ladders at every building, sometimes you want to climb the water pipes, or make a human ladder

I think were going to have a major increase in toys around the world as soon as that ecko game cums out,

there were showing stencils and hands on some preview for nick cannon, on the disney channle

yea, i live near a bridge, and its on some train tracks, and its coverd inch to inch in graff, and i do shit down thur all the time. cops never go down there, but if your walking on the tracks to get there, thats illegal, my friend hadda get a lawyer and errything jsut for taking a shortcut o nthe tracks. so jsut dont get caught going dow at least...

i learned and got my style under bridges. cops dont really check under them unless they get a call. and depending what bridge it is it can last for a very very long time w/ out getting buffed. I found a piece that was from the 91' surprised no one went over it.

I shouldn't be the one saying this because i'm kinda just starting out, but practicing or "getting good" as you put it shouldn't be done in places covered with nice shit, you'll just give yourself a bad reputation. Practice on some boards before you go out and make a fool out of yourself.

-kosr-
09-08-2006, 11:15 PM
^^ You should do that, but practicing under bridges that has jack shit under it is just as good as it is not seen in public.

yea first off it depends what bridge u mean, if its a bridge on a damn high way, good luck retard, if its a bridge that like under it its like abandond next to train tacks, then of course ur safe, infact cops will prolly just be like fuck it, over here that's what its like =D

-kosr-
09-10-2006, 10:13 PM
Yeah we got a bridge over here under a highway that a train used to go (and still might?) its a really busy highway so the cops cant pull off the the side (since there isnt a side to pull over on..) they have to go up to the university then do the 5 - 10 minute walk/jog to the bridge.. Like he's going to waste precious donut time on that.

here in aus we just go down to the local drains/bridge and paint it for a few hours, like even spots that are next to main rds and stuff, weve done this like 10 times and the most thats happened to us are ppl walking their dogs telling us to piss off, and one time a guy came down to watch us and talk to us about graff history ect...

I was with my causin one day and we got a ticket for speeding and got pulled over tby the yard and asked what happens to those guys who paint on the trains. then he told a shitload of stuff they can charge yo ass for.

back on bridges, I like to paint under this one bridge but damn it's scarry, there's a homless shelter like just beside it, and sometimes drunk guys wanna jump up on yo ass and beat you, but they jus talk shit so I go on the other sideof the bridge.
