Fruitful - try to clean up your letters a bit, not really feelin the a or the i, also play around with different styles like uppercase letters and stuff
OZON - keep working on simple letters till you get them cleaned up

Alright, now we're back where we need to be.
The "S" in the top right tag is the best one out of those, so keep that one.
Maybe shorten the bottom leg of the "L" a tad.
The rounded part for your "R" and "P" should be relatively the same size.
Try straightening out the right leg of the "R" because having it rounded doesn't look like it's working.

OZON - you're making improvements man keep it up, the SL are a little cramped.. but remember that sometimes just a little imagination and warping of basic letter structure can help...
Aserdoe - you're not a master if you're in the toy thread... and personally... philly style is just a style that originated in philly not necessarily confined to philly. its a style that denotes complex handstyles that are often tagged large instead of doing bombs which take time to fill, etc.
PS: how do you consider that top one any good? it looks like you did the tag over and over. unless you are going for a metal scrathed type tag, if thats the case then it looks decent ^_^

It ain't all about it being illegible. You actually have to have a basic concept of how your letters should be constructed. Then you start to squeeze 'em at the top and bottoms, get the slight bend depening on which hand you write with, and then add loops.

look at any tag on the page except for zonk's for example. quick n easy is what you should go for when thinking of handstyles
but I tell you again, this doesn't mean that what you did isn't ok. it's just not something you could use on the run... you can use this as your signature, the one you put under your pieces when you're not in a hurry (ex: chill spot, permission wall, blackbook..) it needs a few tweaks though

Edit: I would also like to make it clear why their tags got better. If you look at each letter, they each try less individually, and instead try to look better together. Hope that makes sense (also the demos isnt the best example, but search around and you can find real good ones.)

It ain't all about it being illegible. You actually have to have a basic concept of how your letters should be constructed. Then you start to squeeze 'em at the top and bottoms, get the slight bend depening on which hand you write with, and then add loops.

RAHK- Work on smoothing your letters a bit. That pointy R isn't working out. Also remember to keep your width consistent to make that kinda style pop. And you might want to try to squeeze them together. Play around with it. You still have progress to make.

Sifen- Put the S from the left hand on the right hand and that would be dope. It isn't bad. Keep developing!

I feel ya, its hard not to paint tho...like really. Even tho i know its not going to be all crisp and burnin the feeling while painting is hard to pass up...but i gotts say that as soon as i started sketching my game tightened up with paint..probably take your advice and sketch it up for a few months then hit the bricks again and see if i get any better.lol no funny business.....every time i start doing something basic i want to play with it and add shit...thats usually where things go sour....and then to weedeater...yes i know, i didn't plan the space well at all --amateur mistake i guess. I really am a decent artist but transferring over to city landscape and pigment is different and i keep trying to rush everything...like i have sooo many ideas and have the balls to hit the spots, i aint got shit to do -psn is down for the count, and I have an ass breezy job so time and money really are not an issue...all i want to do is these big amazing pieces in the most ridiculous spots but the paitence to get there......hard to keep hold of that

oh yeah task that's true, usually I do some color correction on my photos so that they look the way they are in real life. because i use a cell phone cam that makes everything look low contrast. no life at all in the original photos, but that's not the way it is in real life :) but i didnt really know that it's noticeable
