yo man, what i did when i was starting to fuck with letters is i'd grab a piece of paper and write the alphabet on the side and then slowly modify them throughout the page, and so on until you get what you like.
i've personally used like 50 pages a day in the past and still i do atleast a page or two a day to improve on my letters. before you come up with a name that you want to write, figure out what letters youre good at doing, optik doesn't seem to flow too well, atleast not in my eyes.

Thanks mang, yeah I actually hit that tag up today walking the streets and it was pretty even and I was happy with it. Even though a family was staring me down. The letters in that flick weren't too proportionate. I've been contemplating trying to flow them together, the leader of my crew recommended that. I dunno, I actually like handtsyles that have some space. Could just be my toy preference though.

yeh those 2 are a weird letter combo side by side, if you like i could upload a photo of a concept of ur H and E that moves in one motion, it would work well for the E you got up there too. it would fit behind the P abit better...also writing it over and over again will help u be able to make them flow together better and shit.

Lag: Start with your own handwriting and watch how your hand moves and the letters are formed. The stretch and lean them. Start with a pen. If you can rock a solid tag with a pen a marker will be second nature. It's just like pieces and throws. Start simple and build. Take a caligraphy class and study typography if you're really into it.

I've written this shit 3 times and gave crits to a bunch of people and bs went nuts and i wasn't able to post it... Now i'm just annoyed and don't feel like doing it again.

Start with your basic hand writting and basic principles even height/width etc. Take a caligraphy class if you can or get some books at the library.

remember. the marker doesn't make the handstyle... the handstyle makes the marker. (an otr marker isn't magicly going to make your handstyle the shit, but a good handstyle will make any marker the shit provided it works.)

wizzard u gotta go more simple, we gotta learn to walk before we can run, gotta run before you can jump...unless your a fukin kangaroo or somshit. dont make the same mistake i did and try to scribble stuff down in one liners...one liners are sick but we gotta both master the simple shit first, go slow and really hone ur skills from there, keep it up

HiCK try to have your E not drag on so far yeh and not be on an angle like that, try to make ur A more like ur first A were its more oval rather then perfectly circular, also maybe try playing around with the other lower case A with the bar on top and circle part below if u get wat im saying. work on letter consistency and making that E more of a rouned chillen E to match ur A and wat not.

Top left is your best one, keep that style but lose the arrow and line off the O. And try to get a bit more of a space between the I and C because its hard to tell those are 2 letters instead of one.

Axil, your letters are always different sized from eachother, like for example ur A is always smaller then ur E and u shouldnt have those lines coming from so high up on ur DnB. if you dont care wat other pple think and say and if u just do it for ur self then why do u post ur stuff and ask for crits if ur not gonna take any of the crits to good use. im not trying to be a dick just saying u should practice letter consistency and dont write so fast and dont overthink it

I know how that goes, Broke my right wrist in late february, fell off a street pole drunk putting up a sticker, had to have surgery. Wrist is still hella stiff but I'm startin to get the movement back.
