TAG
The most basic form of graffiti, a writer's signature with marker or spray paint. It is the writer's logo, his/her stylized personal signature. If a tag is long it is sometimes abbreviated to the first two letters or the first and last letter of the tag. Also may be ended with the suffixes "one", "ski", "rock", "em" and "er".

You&#39;re right, it&#39;s not a good style. I dont like how the "h" is curvy and and the T and the Y dont fit the style. Try to make it all fit together and flow.

and shifty try to seperate out your letters a bit and dont rock it so big with such a thin marker, + lose the arow for now, keep it dead simple and the more you write it the more fluent it will become developing style.

dekon - i&#39;m not too fond of it. i&#39;m not sure what it says (can see s, k, r, t, (j?) h) and it&#39;s all a bit too spaced out. it looks like to tried to do a massive tag with a thin marker too.

beone - get it smoother, looks like you&#39;re spending alot of time on the lines and pressing really hard ;) i&#39;m not too keen on the extension on the e and also your letters are a bit spaced out

Actually the paper is only 4x3 inches lol. It&#39;s just that my camera sucks and i need to take it up close :&#092;. Anyways it actually says "Skrim", I also didn&#39;t like the fact that i can&#39;t make a good enough C to be in a tag. Uhm..also as you can see i am a toy and i have no sense of direction or idle *Cry*. Anyways should i make my letters more clearer or more jumbled in?

make em clearer, closer, but not so they&#39;re all together. i&#39;m not the expert on handstyle (or anything) but you want it to look good and so people can read it at the same time. sometimes it&#39;s better to go for simple letters with a bit of style rather than alot of crazy shit all over it. i thought it was on an advert or summat :P

Now that i&#39;ve re-read it i realized that i&#39;ve made myself look like a fucking dumbass..Great first impression huh? Anyways I don&#39;t want graffiti to be ridden from the earth since it&#39;s a type of art, and art is beautiful.

argh bullshit... i went out bombing last night, to try out my new mop and paint. i dunno if it was because there was rain on the surfaces, or that the paint was thinned down too much, but meh, it was on a newly buffed wall, and i hope they buff it again sometime soon. looks so shit, the paint didn&#39;t cover, and one of em i tried reaching too high, and i couldn&#39;t do the top of the s. shit.

deathrow and aoassis, they look pretty sick. dekon, don&#39;t worry about it. the time you didn&#39;t waste looking up "graff terms" was time you (hopefully) used usefully, sketching, practising and shit.

I went bombing wen it was wet, do not use markers on wet surfaces, it completely fucks it for a while coz it soaks up all the water, a lesson learnt for next time.

hey guys this is my first psot and my first pic this wos just done on photoshop im 20, and wanted to get into grafitti again i miss it .doing the whole work thing. you guys get it easy when your young, but i wnated to start it up again i wos shit, thing is there is no writters in my area or part of my country in england its really hard to find some one to go tagging with or tell me where im goign wrong ,or right.i know it takes years and years and u just cant go and throw up a great peice but im willing to learn .like you learn a isntrument you just need lots and lots of practice, so get back let me know what you think ill put some more up when i find my black book, also any one from the uk know some good sites that i can look at and learn more? talk to you soon

Yeh I&#39;m from the London. But I&#39;m 14 so never mind that :P. Dont try and learn graffiti, it should just be fun. The more you do it for fun the better you&#39;ll get. You&#39;ll notice it gradually over time. Take a look at basic block letters (big ones) and put them together as practice. Try out a few tags, put em up in the toy tag section, an see what people say. Then just put up with markers every now and then. Try not to go to cans too soon, dont wanna destroy your rep before it&#39;s properly begun :P :lol:.

Just have fun doing it. Be free when you draw.

on your "n" dont put it so far out put it closer to the word, and make it not so "bubbley" make it more like jagged i guess im going for and for your "o" mak the ending part come into the middle a little or even try to make it go right threw it and connect to the "n"
