dude branch out a bit. go in to town or when you see a train go by, look at the work on the walls downtown or on a train. just study them. your letters are pretty basic and need a hell of a lot of work. just let your mind go crazy when your doing them, dont constrict yourself to what you see graffiti as, do it as you think graffiti looks like. just be creative, and do lots of work on paper before you go ruin some wall

Daco- Real strong tag. Easily wall worthy.

Above- Good letters, maybe a bit plain tho. Make that shit pop.

Cookies- also good letters, a little too even and str8 across as well tho. Try starting the tag with small letters and flair out to big ones, or some kind of variation in size or throw an addon to give it some wave. Also appies to Above.

Newt- solid letters tho a bit bland. You could get more style outta that W. That way the T wouldn't have to do all the work. (That's a nice T)

Sewar- Nice (even tho I hate looking at shit on MS paint. Maybe pull out the smily.

Refuse- Simple but effective. ;)

Everybody else- Keep hittin up that blackbook yo.

Unless he's in your city or you're a king, he really doesn't have to drop the name. There's currently 12 bazillion writers getting up right now and only 26 letters in the english alphabet. The B and the O are kinda boring. Nothing really wrong with the E and the S, but overall it just doesn't really pop with style ya know? It's a good start. Continue to evolve it.

Also, with such a thin marker width, I'd try writing it smaller so the letters look thicker, or get a fatter marker. Just a suggestion. ;)

For anyone practicing there handstyles and burning thru markers, if you got a Wallmart nearby, they sell 2packs of black chisel tip markers for 88 cents a pack. They also sell spiral notebooks for 10 cents each. It's a cheap and effective way to KEEP YOUR SHIT OFF THE WALL! :lol: jk..

First off lose the crown. Now make the A less of a regular A. Make the S lean the other way like the rest of the letters so it is leaning like &#092; <-- that. Make the letters a little closer together. Overall it isn&#39;t that bad.

With the exception of the one on the bottom right, I actually think they&#39;re kinda nice. You&#39;ve obviously done some experimenting with your letters. I would suggest trying the lower case C with the tag on the top, or continue evolving the C on the top cuzz it dissrupts the flow and doesn&#39;t look like you really got a handle on that style of C yet. Also work on the overall flow of the tag. It&#39;s kinda in two parts right now, but a very good start. Props. ;)

It&#39;s all good Fracture. ;) This is the toy forum so don&#39;t be shy about posting your stuff. As for a crit... besides it being blurry and small, I&#39;d say it&#39;s a decent start. You&#39;re stylizing your letters which is good, and they&#39;ll continue to evolve, but as you focus on making dope letters, also focus on making dope letters flow together with ease and quickness. What you&#39;ve got so far looks like stylized letters all lined up in a row. Not so much working together. Work on that and make the A bigger and you&#39;ll be coming up nicely. :)

Short e- It&#39;s got a tight flow ( a REALLY tight flow....) and the W is super fresh, but other than that, it&#39;s a little illegible. I think I see a small E and a Z at the end, the middle letter is a mystery. Clean it up a bit so it&#39;s more readable but try to keep that same shape if possible cuzz it&#39;s way money yo. Overall- VERY fresh&#33; Props. I&#39;m looking forward to seeing one that&#39;s readable. ;)

elcs- Don&#39;t take this for beef cuzz I&#39;m not big on putting cats down, but I would really suggest you hit the books harder and stay down for a while. That tag is really bad homie. It&#39;s the kind of tag you&#39;ll see a few months from now and wish you hadn&#39;t been so eager to get up cuzz it&#39;s an embarrassment. It&#39;s got now flow and no style. Don&#39;t take it hard, but do take the advice. Keep practicing and you&#39;ll get there.

Anybody know exactly what tools Labrona and Other use? it&#39;s like somekinda oil based shit, but I&#39;m not clear as to what. And do straight oil Pastels work? I heard they don&#39;t do well with heat.

I liked a bunch of these but I can&#39;t see &#39;em when I quote &#39;em so I dunno which is which. My all time favorite is your old tag thats in there. I like the first one too (minus the R). The second WAW is tight. Is there a way to define the line thru the A a little better without dissrupting the repetetive flow? The bottom WAW that looks like a long squiggle is fresh too. I&#39;d like to see you bust some shit out for the weekly handstyle battles. Get some fresh steez in there. Props. WAW&#39;s lookin tuff.


REGS- It&#39;s improving alot. I like where you&#39;re going with that R but it looks a little stiff. Loosen it up a bit, but don&#39;t loose the flow, the E is a little squished. Maybe fatten the bottom of that G a bit and the S is coming along. Keep up the good work. ;)

try to be more creative ur letters are fuckin boring

plan it out make the mark wit the pen or w/e before u put it there

also once u get somthing close to what u like write it a thousand times try changing little things and u will get a nice finish

Chronic - the first one is kinda weird and messy but I like the second one its got a lot more style the first and last one I don’t really like, keep working on that second one

Beone - very nice I like it, maybe try making the b hang a little less out
