looks like cursive to me, i mean, its obviously not, but it just reminds me of cursive. And i cant read any of it...

try looking at the tags tags tags thread in the picture forum and looking at that shit for a while to get aquianted with some good tags. Then, as was suggested to me, just start writing you tag name or whatever over and over again in plain handwriting, and then just go faster and faster until things start to evolve. Its a slow process, but having a good handstyle is worth it. Just look at c3zr&#39;s stuff and think of how cool it would be to write like that, then practice some more...

That&#39;s not too bad. Try using a chisel tip to do it, and try writing it a bit faster, looks like you&#39;ve written it pretty slowly by how dark the ink is in some places. And try it without the stars too.

Try removing the halo, the quote mark things, the massive extention on the &#39;s&#39;, the underline, the arrow, and the star thing. And raise the bar of the &#39;T&#39; up so it&#39;s not cutting through letters.

Apart from that it&#39;s ok, although I don&#39;t know if the third to last letter is an &#39;n&#39; or a &#39;D&#39;.

I got a prospectus from a nearby university, it has like 600 pages in it. I wrote like two massive tags on each page with a marker similar to the big pilots. I found that helped a lot.

It&#39;s not too bad in my opinion just needs time and practice and it should come round good.

Have you thought of adding another letter to it? Sometimes tags look better with 4 letters rather than three.

First one is hot. Still needs a little work around the &#39;ut&#39; area but it&#39;s looking good.

Maybe make the second &#39;t&#39; lower case and use the horizontal bar on the &#39;t&#39; as the bar on the &#39;H&#39;. Although that may look like &#39;trutii&#39;.

alright, so this is my third attempt at a tag, with yet another name.. i wasn&#39;t really feeling steve or 1990, but i like politik, so i think i&#39;m gonna stick with this

Keep the letters the same size, get rid of all hose addons (starts, underline and comma things) just work on letters first. keep ur letters clean, the SNM is alright, the E isnt just keep working on a good flow.

I&#39;m currently writing Newt but I&#39;m getting sick of it, I&#39;m not really keen on the letters, they seem a bit limiting for me and I don&#39;t really like working with them.

Here&#39;s a few names I&#39;ve been messing with, I&#39;m pretty keen on using drab. I did a search on google and there seems to be someone already writing it. Although the live like a thousand miles away from me and they don&#39;t seem to be a king or anything so I&#39;m not really that worried.

Anyways, any crits or advice or anything? My current tag is at the bottom. By the way, the tags are pretty rough, this is the first time I&#39;ve ever written them, I didn&#39;t put much effort into them.

Basically, you want a nice mix of sharp points and curves. They accentuate eachother. This one was done a little hasty and is a bit too pointy, but you get the jist of what you can do...

Tough to get much flow on those. The Esol&#39;s got a couple possibilities, but I hurried. I couldn&#39;t really pull anything out of that Sion. Nice letters, but my style doesn&#39;t pull them together well in that order.

I guess at that point, it&#39;s up to you. It&#39;s not bad, but when you take away the drips and the outline, it&#39;s maybe a bit too basic. I don&#39;t think it would look good at all in paint, but with a flowpen, it would be sufficient I guess. Try giving the vertical lines in it a little funk, a little curve or whatever. See if that spices things up. Other than that, the letters have a good shape, they just need a bit of swerve to &#39;em. ;)
