I see what you did. You tilted the marker to get the chisel effect. Just go out and rack a chisel tipped sharpie. If not, just stick with the regular tip. Try cutting off the end with scissors or a knife to get a fatter line.

I blew a whole 24 pack of prismas on handyrock and I wish I hadn&#39;t. Plus they don&#39;t have a very sharp edge. My favorite marker for handy practice? Wallmart specials, most deff. "mainstays Office" brand double pack. 84 cents. I love em.

Jarb, that doesn&#39;t look too bad, I really like that &#39;J&#39;, the rest of the tag is OK but it&#39;s like it&#39;s too sharp and straight at the moment, I think it needs to be a little more curvey and flowey in some places. Meeting the equilibrium of sharpness and softness is a big part of making a tag look good.

Slow, the &#39;SL&#39; is nice, it&#39;s got good style. But then it&#39;s like your &#39;OW&#39; doesn&#39;t have much style at all. &#39;O&#39;s and &#39;W&#39;s seem to be hard to give good style (well for me anyways) but it&#39;s definetly not impossible. So yeah, just work on those last two letters and I reckon it will come out nice.

Its got nice flow, and its nice and simple, not jumbled, letters arent to far apart. arent going over eachother to much, there isnt a million arrows, or even one for that matter.

Sense, that&#39;s pretty good but it would look a lot better if your second &#39;s&#39; was the same as the first and the second &#39;e&#39; was the same as the first. Have you been writing for long? You might want to consider dropping an &#39;S&#39; and an &#39;E&#39; for another letter or two. Quite a few people get frustrated with having double ups of a letter and in this case you have two doubles ups. Whatever, it&#39;s just a thought.

hi there guys.
im really, really new to graphiti.
ive been taking pictures of basic graffiti people have put on electric boxes and phone boxes then i look at the photos and use ideas (basic tags people make with markers)..
so anyway ive come up with a basic way of writing my tag (see a pic here (http://img242.imageshack.us/img242/5601/tagsvx8.jpg)).
i cant think of any other way to add more arrows or anything, so some advice would be good. the bottem drawing was me just doodling and testing shades.
once again i am an extreamly new to this, im working up the ladder.. any advice is appriciated&#33;

I would highly recommend a new name because Zodiac is kinda weird, but whatever. Try adding some style but don&#39;t make it look fucking stupid, just some curves and whatnot.

I love the letters, not too big of a fan of stars but whatever. I think you should put one pair of quotes the size they are already on the left of the curve of the A and the other pair should replace the star as longer lines. I think it&#39;d look sick. Also that bottom line is just kinda hanging out doing nothing... Switch it up a bit and see what happens

when i have round corner stencils i use the rounded xacto blade, and when i have jaggedy straight lines on a stencil i use the regular type-A xacto blades

Keep messing around with that underline, you&#39;ll find something... Maybe just a straight line that goes under but on the left it curves around the quotes like the K part did for the right... work on your c&#39;s. i find c&#39;s hard&#39;r than others.

skribl- like it alot. i&#39;d only say to clean up the crown a little, real nice though.

scuze- i like ya shit too, just take the E out further from the Z a bit.

perox- the simplicity is cool. the handstyle in the bottom right is the cleanest, kept workin.

that aint perox&#39;s handstyles...those are mine. i did them to give perox an idea on how to get some of his handstyles going. not really looking for crits on em cause they were all dont within like 5 mins. anyways i&#39;ve cleaned up my tag alot since i last posted it, figured out an underline that i like and worked on my letters a little more. will have some pics posted once i get to my house. lada.

Bowser...i never heard of anyone using bowser so i think your safe on that. and on you tag man i wouldnt connect my letters just yet, especially the "w" and the "s"... work on simpler letters before you start anything crazy. hand styles work just like peices...you need to progress from simpler letters. the "r" is nice but i think the "b" doesnt look good pointy like that on the top. you should try rounding out your letters a little more. if you would like i could draw up a sheet for you like i did for P&#33;P on some different styles to give you some ideas and help you get a nice flowing tag. lemme know. peace.

Shit Atesk, you can do some nice stuff with your name. The ate flows together nicely with both capital and lowercase A&#39;s, Uppercase E&#39;s would work to but takes more lines.
Hope you don&#39;t mind the quickies i threw down, just thinking about it makes me want to work with your name more, but i gotta stop.
