Your mixed up...this is the toy tagz thread. And the S is supposed to be big. I couldn't figure out a way to make it fit with the other letters with all it even. and i don't really post that up, i just use stickers instead of taking up a whole page, but for big sketches i use paper. and if your complaining about toys then don't come to the forum

Just so you know it's etiquette (or however the fuck it's spelt) on this forum to crit the people above you if you expect to get crits yourself. It's not that hard, on the posting screen just scroll down so and you'll see the last 10 posts, crit all the pictures in those 10 posts.

Anyway, try and make it a lot simpler and build from there, you're not gonna have time to do all those loopy-te-do-dad things on the street.

IMO 'Noob' is a lame thing to write, but whatever floats your boat.

yea dude you shouldn't write "NOOB" it's pretty lame and letters don't even flow that well. Get a new name and when your doing a tag don't go over the same line a buncha times , if you want thick lines use a marker.

start simple on EVERYTHING
characs, handstyles, throws, pieces
understand how the letters work and then bend them in certain places so it looks cool and makes sense
start messing with proportions but once you have simples and proportioned letters, bars etc... down COMPLETELY and NO ONE can help you bend the letters and mess with proportions make it your own and dont bite ever, its never okay
and if your trying to make up a new style/letters look at some of your favorite artists and just browse the picture gallery for a few hours itll help immensely
find out why some letters you like are awesome and how the artist bent the letters

and other people im not trying to act like im awesome and should tell everyone what to do thats just what ive learned you need to understand and if you dont think i have the authority ill edit it out or something

Air - Try doing your R like the one u did on Rave's. I think it would look better, leave everything the same just switch R's.

Teck- Not really feelin the Rave, but ur Teck one is Hot. Just loose those bubble things on the sides and the line the diagonal line that connects the 2 bottom legs on the H.

Heisk- Slammin actually. I really like it. Just consider switchin up the E and the S. I just dont think those letters fit in the style. Also try spicin up the K a little bit. abit too plain. (just giving ideas, still think it looks good though)

Royale- Totally took my advice the wrong way, Your basics were good just try and change the way the letters look, not make them squished together and try and connect them. Space it out more and just try out abunch of different ways to write ur letters. Get a peice of paper and write ur name out like 10 times and each time try and change the way the letter looks. Post what u get outta that and i give u more crits and what u do from there.

Burrito - (mmmm burritos :P) looks clean and everything, but as you stated and already know, beef it up abit. Needs sum Style son! lol

But more interestingly is the green colour that shows itself through the tag.. I made some home made marker about a year ago...Just threw random shit I had in the garage in a marker and stuff.. And ended up with some liquid that can't be painted over..When you paint over it,it just eats through it and can be seen through the paint on top of it..Wish I could remember what I used :P

It's supposed to say Hawker right? Well, to me, the H looks like an "Al" so it looks like Alawker. I would just get rid of the first upward sweep on the H or make sure the thing going across doesn't extend past the H's left vertical line.

Craz- Just like when you're sketchin pieces, go simpler, work off the form of the actual letter instead of adding random extensions that detract from it's natural flow, and don't write on the streets till you get it down. ;) Here's an alphabet.

zeks - try to get your letters more uniform... ie have your corners in the upper bends or lower bends.. just keep them similar as possible

also if you're going to add the bit to the ends of the k and s add one on to the c and e or take them out... gotta keep it all similar

dog, quit doin the tag....completely remaster that ish

size it down a bit and have every leg flow with the other...tags are the gateway to a good style, a nice flow with a tag does alot for your style...and eventually your pieces

start writing it differently and practice flow, cuz right now its lacking it



and i havnt seen that symbol yet...i think your just overexagarating the star to the right of the tag

in the first one id try and make the bottom part of the e more like the bottom of the z, s leg of the k.
the s is dope. B)
