Thanks, I&#39;ve been writing for only like a year and a half, I lucked out and found a good writer in school who writes "curve" he is really good and has given me some tips.. he tells me to rep my city and practice on philly hands and wickets but those are just too hard

phillys are gay...as much as i respect representing your city, i greatly dislike that an entire city has fallen into a trend. break the mold dude. stick with that first style and you will be alright. i&#39;m really feeling the slightly curved style and flow. try it with some thicker markers and possibly a mop. should come out fucking hot. peace man.

hayze- disconnect the letters, and make &#39;em all the same height and width. & it looks like you picked the marker up in the middle of the letter. dont&#39; do that, unless it&#39;s necessary for that style.

same width? how can u make the letters different widths if you&#39;re using the same marker? my advice seeing as it looks like you&#39;re using a sharpie magnum that has a square tip...hold it on an angle so only the corner is touching the paper. also refrain from drawing on any wall with that sharpie. also dont connect your letters as was already mentioned and dont make the star for an "A". a simple "A" will do in it&#39;s place. other than that it look fine. remember to stay nice and simple.

hayze - its only good to connect your letters if you know where to connect them. some people have dope ass tags with absolutely no connection at all. thats how i had to start but you have to look at it and see where some good conncetions would be. i came out with this one and people told me it was decent.

because connecting your letters is a difficult style to do and pull off. it takes a while to get the hang of. you&#39;re best off learning some basic structure by keeping your letters simple and legible. after a while your handstyles will start to get better and better. once you get a good handstyle and have some control you should then start working on connecting letters. i waited like almost 2 years before i started working on oneliners. just keep it simple and legible and dont go crazy with arrows or curves. the style will come on its own as you improve.

i never said you should do them like keyboard letters. i mean no first tag is going to look good so it might be best to do them like keyboard letters. all i&#39;m saying is start simple with basic letters. you can curve them a little if you want and bring them a little closer together...just dont go overboard with it. keep your letters simple and legible. you improve as you practice.

i think the first letter is a caligraphic l then an a might be a double ss at the end the rest is scribble i agree with the simple ftw philosophy when you have a simple handie and write it enough you will gradually see i can extend that and ad this that way the handie has flow start with somthing simple like sleets

Too many people here are like &#39;use a chisel tip it will look a lot better&#39;, it kinda doesn&#39;t make sense. It&#39;s like doing a crap piece but using lots of color to distract from the horrible letters. If you can&#39;t rock a crap pen, you can&#39;t rock anything at all :P

Mr So, that little thing coming off the left of the &#39;M&#39; is confusing as fuck, didn&#39;t know what it said until I read your username. The &#39;S&#39; is lacking. The &#39;R&#39; is on it&#39;s way there and that&#39;s a nice touch to the &#39;o&#39; with the verticle strike through it. If you want a good handy grab a sheet of lined paper and a ball point pen and draw the thing on everyline like ten times, practice makes perfect. At least you can practice tags while you&#39;re on the phone or some shit.

isreal, halo for the dot on an &#39;i&#39;, mad played out and it rarely looks good. &#39;S&#39; doesn&#39;t flow with the rest of your style. It&#39;s good to see you&#39;re starting simple but you need to practice a lot, don&#39;t wanna sound like a hater but your letters aren&#39;t really &#39;aesthetically pleasing&#39;.
