cert-alright the ce flow kind, just curve the c like how you did with the e, and a way you could get an r to flow is to do it in uppercase and curve the top circle downwards in the way you did with the e

i think it looks fine as it is and the only letter i see as needing to be changed is the &#39;r&#39;. spag i would try making a capitol &#39;R&#39; instead. will help fill up some of the negative space you have. and also dont use whappen&#39;s &#39;t&#39;...sorry dude but it&#39;s ugly.

Thats pretty nice man, I like that v, but I suggest that u use markers instead of colored pencils. not feeling that &#39;r&#39; caer. i would try making it a capital &#39;R&#39; and make it more round. i realize you are going for a blocky look with the &#39;a&#39; and the &#39;r&#39; so i would consider maybe making the loop of the &#39;R&#39; round but the right leg make more sqaurish. if you need an example of what i mean i&#39;d be more than happy to draw it up for you.

jsb: ditch all that shit, especially the x at the end, and start with like plain normal writing letters, it&#39;s clear you don&#39;t have a very good grounding in your letters. also, learn to use the edit button, it has a purpose.

knews: they&#39;re all so like uneven and shit, make em like all on one line and all the same size, think about it this way: a tag is the basis for a piece - you should go about a tag the same way you go about a piece. since you know what&#39;s up when it comes to piecing that should help a little.

amk: the m and k are hella ugly on the ahahahahamka, but the Hs are hot and the As are ok, i dunno what to say about the painted one i personally don&#39;t like it but i can&#39;t think of anything that would improve it, i just don&#39;t like that style.

edit: i&#39;m talking about the bottom tag on the top pic (for the advice below this paragraph) for the tag on the very bottom pic, the a is pretty nice and the k is even better, but the e and m suck.

the bottom one&#39;s better than all the ones you&#39;ve posted, the k&#39;s hella hot on that but doesn&#39;t suit the rest of the letters at all. i do like the really circular style though, like try and spend more time on the e and m to make em look neater cause the a&#39;s pretty nice, and come up with a different k than all the others because although the k on the very bottom one is nice it doesn&#39;t suit the cuvy style (it&#39;s straight and angly, ya dig?) and the k on all the others looks like ass.

emak the very last one is the best out of those ones, the m is the weakest letter in that try and make it match the other letters, it doesn&#39;t have to be like a carbon copy but all the letters should have a certain common element that ties em all together.

sorry i&#39;m not the best at putting what&#39;s in my head into words, but you must not have seen very many ms in your lifetime ahaha, i strongly advise you to just go out and like search for graff, just like try and see as much of it as possible, and if you live in a place where that&#39;s not possible that see as much of it as you can on the net, surf these forums and just like immerse yourself in the art, your mind is like a sponge you may not notice it but as you see and hear things you pick them up and you&#39;ll just have the knowledge or &#39;know-how&#39;.

i meant the k that looks like an algebraic x, it&#39;s ugly and doesn&#39;t look like a k, just give up on that one, but you&#39;re onto something with that last tag. about the curvy tag, i meant that the k that you used that was like sharp and jagged(ish) didn&#39;t fit the curvy bubbly style of the other letters, the individual letters may look good but together it doesn&#39;t flow. keep at it tho, like keep playing with that jagged style like the last one you posted and when you feel satisfied with it maybe develop the curvy style, cause the jagged one seems more together than the other one so stick with that for now.

I&#39;d tell you not to paint in public spots, but definitley practice. If you&#39;ve got any drywall in your house, get a kiwi and fill it with water. It&#39;ll turn the drywall dark grey for a few minutes then it disappears.

Cut down on your speed some and really try to &#39;feel&#39; the letters. For me it&#39;s been less about learning the letter than &#39;feeling&#39; it. One day it&#39;s just gonna start seeping in.

anyway- did it at night so I know a lot is kinda off, but your thoughts?

well the red one was just a uni posca marker. found it in the bottom of my bad so i thought i&#39;d give it a whirl. and the nib on the kiwi is crap so they inevitably rip or break after a few uses. i dont think i even emptied half the bottle before it broke and i was writing on pretty smooth surfaces.
new era - there&#39;s a thread here about how to make a kiwi mop but just google "how to make a kiwi mop". think it&#39;d be faster.
