Drop the circle, straight bar on the e, modify the K because it looks like a bad B or something and smashes your O making it pretty pointless, and maybe round out the top of the S.

Nah, I know where you're going with it. Uniformity is always a problem with me. The effect I'm going for is for the letters to get progressively bigger such as "<" but it's pretty hard to pull off with my skill level. But I appreciate the advice. But your example isn't exactly my style. Not that it's bad, just a lot different than the way that I like to write. So the wall looks better? Fair enough. That tag is seriously ancient. One of the first times I used an NY Fat. By the way, is this the same MERO from GA forums?

THe flres are nice just make sure you make your j as big as the othr letter width wise nd flair it out at the top.
Also keep that style in the paint tag it looks really nice

Alright. I've gotten better with the flares with painting it. That was one of my firsts with the name. I just don't have any flicks of stuff lately. The marker tag is just generally how I do it with paint markers and mops. But I appreciate all of the crits, seriously!

Yeah I like to think I live the in the suburbs but it's basically a farm town. Its horrible. I'm about 20 minutes outside of Philly, but still. Its a hassle to go up to the city just to tag. N8- Yeah, we figured out what it says. Not that hard to. And to answer your question, yeah you need to change that. Your S looks like a straight up 5. All your letters are really weak, no offense. Stop trying to write what you think is graffiti you know? Just write your name is basic letters to start and make sure they are all the same size. Bring the letters closer together and lose that underline. Basically just start all over. Forget whatever you think graffiti is and write your name normally, cause I can tell when you wrote that you had no flow.

Basic principle is this. Step-by-step as follows.

1) write your name out writing it exactly like the letters on your keyboard. These are proportioned PERFECTLY.

2) Break each letter into it's component "bars". So A = /-\. etc.

3) Once you have the bars, you can start to bend them, change sizes, play around with them, etc.

But remember to keep a letter proportioned, and distinguishable. when something is based off of bars, it's infinitely easier to read than someone who throws together "cool-looking" scribbles. Those are the ones that when rotated 147.6 degrees clockwise and squinted at through a fisheye lens, may vaguely resemble the actual letter they represent.

It'd be good for you to read some of the beginner threads, such as "New to Graffiti? Start Here!" That only has four pages, so you should definitely read all of them by some point soon, if you have the time, then do it tonight. If not, understandable.
