Hey i was just wondering if anyone knew any good ways to clean the paint off your hands, im talking about before you go home, so when you walk around/ back inside your house, you dont have paint all over your finger tips. Would something like nail polish remover work?? ~_~

05-13-2004, 11:47 PM
wow waste of a topic but um if u see any fountains or sprinklers wash ur hands off with the water or wear gloves or u could goto a gas station and wash ur hands in the bathroom

05-13-2004, 11:57 PM

05-14-2004, 12:01 AM

dont give a fuck.

painted hands look cool. plus they increase your chances of some weird cancers and diseases. oh and they cause inconsistency also.

guess your parents check your hands when u walk in huh? hahaha ^__^ i dont like latex gloves cuz they make me sweat and my hands feel cramped. i wear magic gloves sometimes. its good for catching the offspray but not direct hits.

ace: damn that signature... XD me wants to feel that against my boner

05-14-2004, 08:27 AM
Nail polish remover can remove just about anything...including the "Extra Permanent" Ink in Jumbo Pilots. But really, just wear gloves ;)

05-14-2004, 09:26 AM
rubbing alchohol works best on hands. i found this out when i made a marker and the ink exploded out of the pen. not a very good experience. wearing gloves is definately the best way to keep hands clean.

05-14-2004, 07:23 PM
i jsut wear gloves but if i end up getting it on me i jsut scrub it off with paint thinner. and dont try to tellme it doesnt work beacuse it takes of the first layer of skin

05-14-2004, 07:28 PM
yea I use paint thinner if a can bursts on me or something like that. Degreaser, they use that on cars to clean em, works pretty well too.

jurass finish first
05-14-2004, 07:44 PM

05-16-2004, 06:09 AM
my fingers are stained with shoe dye the strong type i forget what its called and my marker was dripping so i was whipping it to get some drips off so it wouldnt go on me and my fucking nib came out hit the wall and landed on my white shoes now my shoes have a big violet splash on the front.

05-17-2004, 12:40 AM
just spit on your hand...wipe it in the grass...rub your fingers together and such...or even easier wear gloves...

05-17-2004, 07:29 AM
it hurts when u get a thick layer of paint on ur hands and it wasnt put on all at once but misted on over time. rips ur skin off

05-17-2004, 03:51 PM
If you really need to get the paint off, wack off, and cum over your hands. My friend told me works wonders.

05-18-2004, 08:41 AM
anyone ever hear of soap and water and skraping it off

05-18-2004, 09:41 AM
wow really... i think this was meant for before u go home and ur parents see your paint on ur fingers for the youngens and the topics lately and quickly make no fucking sense and are useless id say there dense but im not smarter then them u could say im dense.

05-18-2004, 02:10 PM
Use acetone, your mom probably has it if she does her nails. Use it to get paint of your clothes if shit gets messy. :)

12-24-2004, 10:06 AM
I usually don't really mind if I get paint on my hands when I'm coming home, but if you realy need something to keep the paint off them my best suggestion would be latex gloves.

12-24-2004, 10:39 AM
wear gloves or get this stuff i bought, well actually my mom bought for me because she is parnoid about paint on my fingers intoxicating me, it is called 'EZ AIR art & craft, Brush & hand CLEANSING TOWELS' they work reall well, it comes in like a plastic container and the towelles are pull out and its real good. and it is a little wider than a spray can and shorter, so you can just throw that sucker in your bag and when you are walking home just whip out one of them and wash up. and it smells like lotion so if you use lotion your parents/whoever is going to try to bust you will just think you put lotion on your hands.

12-24-2004, 11:52 AM
up at walmart they have this cream called OPPS.that shit takes paint off your hands and clothes.it's bout $2 or $3 for it.i never tried it cuz my parents dont car ebout me getting paint on me and i always use latex gloves.also my mom bought me these sports pants for when i paint.they're fucking dope cuz they got pockets everywhere.it's good to have my parents supporting me.they buy me all my paint.like today for christmas,i'm getting $100 just for paints.shit i'm going taggin today cuz all tha pigs are up in their house and no1 is out there.perfect day for tagging

12-24-2004, 11:58 AM

12-27-2004, 12:52 PM
well kool guy after i finish bombing i go to the bathroom and use DAWN soap that shit works pretty good. if not use something strong. when i did a roll up and got my hands full of paint i grab AJAX and wash them with that, that shit came off quick.

12-27-2004, 02:11 PM
ajax works good so does gas and paint thinner

01-05-2005, 01:56 PM

<_< Werd never leave without em.......

01-06-2005, 07:00 AM
it's been said a million times in here...wear latex gloves. However, if you have a kitchen sponge for dishes, S.O.S. pads I think, use the green scrubby side with water and soap on your hands, and the paint flakes off really fast. I did that the other day, when I came in from painting on my patio. It works pretty well.

Just wear latex gloves.... Or wash when paint is still wet but mineral spirits or paint thinner works wonders...

For paint removal form cloathes.... dont know

01-07-2005, 06:19 PM
how do not get it out of place?

09-25-2006, 05:25 PM
one word

09-26-2006, 09:21 AM
orange clean works the best the paint slips off your hands

07-17-2007, 08:43 AM
mineral turpentine

07-18-2007, 09:24 PM
When it's fresh on your hands it comes off easily once it dries it can be a bitch but the best way for me is very hot water and scrubbing. Your clothes it's a different story. I you notice it quickly then apply a bit of water and scratch it with a razor blade or knife lightly and it should come off.

07-18-2007, 10:37 PM
GOJO is heaven if its on your hand even if its dry

SHOUT is heaven on clothes if its still wet
if its dry your fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked

07-18-2007, 11:48 PM
hmm i usually scrape my hands on the curb, and get off as much as possible when im done painting. then when i get to a sink i wash em under the hot water. its not magic but it works

07-19-2007, 12:04 AM
thats what i do to or i use a like a scrubber pad takes shit right off and if you like get it on your hands while out painting wipe it on the inside of your sock

07-19-2007, 09:56 AM
i wear latex gloves. i am trying to find a good pair of re-usable gloves but havent found anything yet.

07-20-2007, 09:38 PM
Plastic scrubber pad is easiest to take with you.

but what i use at the house...

toothpaste(mild abrasive)
dish soap
ajax(extreme abrasive)

BTW, this is for inks. you gotta take off a layer of skin when you start fucking around with shit that stains. paint isnt a problem, but inks can be hell.

i wear latex gloves. i am trying to find a good pair of re-usable gloves but havent found anything yet.
rubber kitchen gloves. looks like hell after a while, but it still works. even when its covered in paint and ink.

07-21-2007, 08:26 PM
lol at whoever said acetone. good idea.

07-22-2007, 01:19 AM
theres this stuff called gojo its orange and has pumice in it, it gets paint off pretty good

07-22-2007, 03:31 AM
this is the easiest portable cleanr. when you go to the barber shop or walmart next rak one of those hairsprayer things that you use to get water all over your hair. go home and fill it up w/ eithr acetone or paint thinner. if your not one for wearing gloves. when you get thru bombin. spray ur hands and it comes off after you rub em togethr. carry a coke bottle full of it too incas u need to refill the sprayer of if it gets busted or some shit=D

08-01-2007, 05:36 PM
gas or fingernail polish remover

08-01-2007, 06:05 PM
Gasoline is what I use.Works like a charm

08-18-2007, 04:24 PM
carry around wet naps or sumthin. bring a bottle of cooking oil with u too, it gets ur shit off nice

08-18-2007, 04:31 PM
what n00bs
use etch bath.
that will get it off your hands and clothes.

08-18-2007, 04:39 PM
lol, ur gunna get the toys killed! they dont no any better
