It is pretty bomb. I used to do it daily for a month or two straight, really fuckin' expensive around yonder, but hey, I got my fix. Only problem was that I would take it before school, and it fucked me over tons. Lifting weights, doing homework, and everything was just a pain in the ass. :( Then, when I stopped it, out of the blue, just mad withdrawals for a good week. Moral of the story, lean in moderation.

Ugh, I haven't done shit in soooo long, I almost miss being fucked up all day. My addictions have reduced themselves to cigarettes, which is nice, but I wanna do more again. But whenever I think about doing X, eating mushrooms, or anything, I feel nauseous as fuck. I don't think my body likes it anymore :(

keep in mind that you control your trips.
this isn't to say that if you think about it hard enough that the intoxicant will just go away. this simply means that whatever it is that is in your mind that is freaking you out can be reversed with enough positive thinking. i suggest closing your eyes and using breathing exercises to calm yourself down. try not to allow your mind to stray because that often tends to bring you back to whatever daunting images were troubling you.
also, please refrain from talking about yourself in the third person.

Im the most anxious person in the entire world and I was so scared to try them for years...and finally one spontaneous night a friend whipped em out...best night of my LIFE. lol, don't be scared, you just have to keep the mentality that its a trip...people fear losing control. I don't see how you guys actually fear the drugs that you plan on taking. If you're scared of it, you probably shouldn't take it. If you respect it, then by all means, give it a try. Mushrooms are all about realizing that you are on drugs, and your mind is going to do some things that you may not entirely comfortable with. Whatever happens, just roll with it, I hate that whole, "Take me out of the bad trip!" thing. If you constantly try and run from a bad trip, there's going to be one where you can't get out of it, and you will freak the fuck out. If you're able to handle a bad trip here and there, then you're pretty set.

Mind you, this is all my opinion.

Dont look to expect anything Zen, its a crazy very unique experience, but you dont get like retarded off it haha. Youre perfectly capable of acknowledging your surroundings and talking with people, everything just has its own little way of letting you know youre on mushrooms lol....When I first did it I wasnt sure if it kicked in yet and my buddy asked me "You getting the visual yet?" and im like "idk, im waiting for the wind to stop moving the trees so i can concentrate..." the wind was not blowing lol. my favorite thing EVER is to stare at myself in the mirror...its so creepy and cool.

and as for crack. Its worth a try i guess. So I take a piss and meanwhile the temptation of looking in the mirror is killing me, haha. So I take a peak and my face is going wild in the mirror. It was distorting like I had never seen before. At one point, my face started melting and it transitioned into an aging distortion (I was growing older by the second, and my face was showing it...).

Most people will recommend to you to not ever look into a mirror when you're tripping, but I don't see much harm in it as long as you can grasp the fact that what you are about to see is not real. I had trouble that time, and that's why it freaked me out lol. Don't question your visuals because as soon as you know it, you'll be dwelling on negative thoughts.

My first time taking LSD, I went to downtown Chicago where some friends and I were going to see a concert (Coheed & Cambria for those who are concerned :D). I just remember feeling like an animal after looking at my reflection once and watching scales form over my skin. This was while I was walking down the sidewalks and passing by stores, staring into the reflections of the windows lol. Then all of a sudden this huge black guy wearing a long leather trench coat walks up to me and my buddy and asks, "What do need?" I probably did a triple-take looking from him to my buddy, waiting for him to say something since I was fucking dazed lol. He responds, "We don't need anything." (I later found out he was selling tickets to some sporting event or something). At another point during this walk in downtown Chicago, my friends all darted across this busy ass street, completely forgetting that I'm tripping balls. So here I am, alone. I step onto the street and peer down the road, but I felt like I was looking down never-ending hallways with cars speeding down them, but I had no sense of depth whatsoever. I ended up completely guessing when to run across, but I caught a horn because one car came up close lol. Funny shit.

I've never done it myself, but a have like 5 friends who have and I watched them all do it lol. At Rothbury, the shit was everywhere. Some guys who sold some to my friends dropped their container that had like 7 grams of it (you only use like .1-.2 per trip lol) by our tent accidentally and walked away. They called back later and we gave it back, but damn, that could have been some MONEY lol.

I'm kinda disappointed I didn't try it, but I'm not one to jump into things I don't know much about. I paid $20 for .2, which seemed very subtle to me, but I could definitely feel it. I have a feeling that .1 wouldn't be enough to feel 'full' effects because I definitely could have handled more than .2. I have a buddy who takes like .5-.7 on a regular basis, but he gets FUCKED lol. If it tasted terrible though, it was probably real. My friend told me to let mine dissolve on my tongue (it was in a capsule) and once the pill dissolved, it was intense how nasty and bitter the taste was.

For a first timer, split between an eighth and a quarter with a friend and just ride the wave. The onset is often the hardest when you don't know what to expect, but if you make it past the first half hour of uneasiness you are in for a hell of a good ride. Just have a good frame of mind and remember it only lasts for so long. Alot of people enjoy spending their peak times outdoors and I would agree with that. I also remember playing Super Mario World till 6 in the morning and it was truly epic. Oh yeh, don't expect to sleep until you come down completely which can take 3-6 hours depending on the strain. Also, taking mushrooms is a form of food poisoning, so to feel nauseous is expected although I've only puked once from them. Again after the initial 20-30 minute onset wave all anxiety and upset stomach should dissipate. Expect the effects of alcohol to be minimalized. As mentioned, smoke weed to ease any upset stomach or overwhelmingness.

Have fun - I love shrooms. Better than LSD, better than 2CI, better than Salvia.

Yeah, about that 'go big or go home' shroom statement: I'm gonna be real with you- that's not how it is. Most people can't handle the kind of shroom trip that is to come if you eat over your head. For example, a buddy of mine decided that eating 7 grams was a good idea one time and he was just hanging out with a bunch of friends (me included). Luckily he didn't act on his thoughts because, little did we know that he was plotting to kill every one of us, starting with the strongest of the group and working his way down to the weakest. He was convinced that we weren't real, and depending on the environment that you're in, that's usually not a very good thing lol. ive tripped balls of a half gram before, and had a mellow trip off 4-5 before. it all depends on the strain and when they were harvested. a big harvest can even have varying potency from mushroom to mushroom. Ill say this for everyone again, (a lot of people on here seem a little un experienced) It's always easier to eat more if its not working than to deal with eating too much this goes for any drug ,(and you dont wanna be the guy freaking out,plus it can lead to fucking with other peoples trips too) Dont do psychedelics unless you want to and are prepared mentally you really shouldnt dive in if your having ANY doubts, as that can lead you into a bad trip. (if that happens just know its all over in a couple hours, and try to be around people you trust and enjoy...I;ve noticed most people who freak out while tripping seemed hesitant to trip in the first place, and/or when are having a bad trip start thinking they'll never stop tripping) ive never seen anyone od on real mushrooms, and ive seen guys eat damn near close to an ounce. I saw a guy who apparently died at a festival from eating some mushrooms someone sold him that were picked at the festival and were poisonous.
All in all I used to trip damn near 2-3 times a week for months and then about 2-3 a months for 2.5-3 years. I wouldnt recommend taking it to an excess, limit it to special times, and maybe try and learn something about your self. You can use it to party but my best trips were with one or two close friends having good converstations or even the hour or two alone.

I was best friends with him for 6 years, skated everyday and innocently smoked, and drank or whatever. and he occasionally took perscription pills/ecstasy when we were around 17/18 and during the year it just grew to more using and less skating day by day. I would see him chillin at the skate spot with some bad news mother fuckers fucked up off free basing heroin, and I'd try and talk to him on a real level and he would just skip out. His family finally saw his addiction on thanksgiving of 08. Sent him to a sober house which I met all of the dudes and they are fucking tight and one of a kind people, they got him clean kept his head up high, and now for the last 9 months he's been back to himself. Through all of this I never judged him, just tried to keep in touch and in reality. Just shows if you can make it through the lowest of lows, you can be brought back to your og real self.

The only constructive advice I can give is that psilocybin mushrooms bruise blue. If what you pick don't bruise blue, don't eat 'em. I probably wouldn't ever eat mushrooms I just 'found' though, myself. Buying them from some random person doesn't seem too logical either, but I find it much less likely that you'd buy some deadly mushrooms off a friend of a friend or someone like that.

And there has been sooo much talk about LSD around my buddies lately, so I may put away like 8 hits just to have for special occasions if I know that they're good tabs. Odds are, you aren't going to find very good mushrooms on your own.

Bruising blue is a good tip, but I've found some that bruise but I KNOW they weren't right. If the gills are spongy, its NOT THE RIGHT KIND.

Usually a light tan, nippled cap is what you want to look for. They *USUALLY* have dark purple gills, because their spores are purple. If it is any other color, MAKE 100% SURE it bruises blue.

But seriously, growing your own mushrooms is one of the easiest things you can do. It takes some reading, and ~$50 investment, but you can grow about an oz of boomers from things you might have laying around the house. After that, you never have to buy spores again, because its really easy to take a spore print.

Check out "Lets Grow Mushrooms" on youtube. Its a 4 part video, but it is THE STANDARD for growing shroomies. Everyone starts out with the method shown in that video, and the guy who made the video is a professional mycologist.

(note: it is 100% legal to have the spores and all the equipment to grow them. Its not illegal until you shoot the spores into the grow medium)

Bruising blue is a good tip, but I've found some that bruise but I KNOW they weren't right. If the gills are spongy, its NOT THE RIGHT KIND.

Usually a light tan, nippled cap is what you want to look for. They *USUALLY* have dark purple gills, because their spores are purple. If it is any other color, MAKE 100% SURE it bruises blue.

But seriously, growing your own mushrooms is one of the easiest things you can do. It takes some reading, and ~$50 investment, but you can grow about an oz of boomers from things you might have laying around the house. After that, you never have to buy spores again, because its really easy to take a spore print.

Check out "Lets Grow Mushrooms" on youtube. Its a 4 part video, but it is THE STANDARD for growing shroomies. Everyone starts out with the method shown in that video, and the guy who made the video is a professional mycologist.

(note: it is 100% legal to have the spores and all the equipment to grow them. Its not illegal until you shoot the spores into the grow medium)

Wow. Use Ralphsters (just google it.) Pick out your syringe, and when you order ask for the "strain of the month" too. 2 syringes, shipped to the USA for $20.

Dehumidifier? You don't need it bro. Run to your local megacenter and buy some stuff called "Damp-Rid" in a bag. Its some little white crystals. 1 bag is $5 and has lasted SWIM about 4 mushroom harvests (big 4 oz ones). You just get an air tight container (zip lock) and dump some in there. Then, get a smaller container and put your mushrooms in it. Put the small container in there without the lid on, and lid the bigger one. Give it 2 days and they will be bone dry.

Never, ever, ever dry them in the oven. Heat kills the actives.

FYI, wet mushrooms lose 90% of their weight. So, a 10 gram mushroom wet will equal out to 1 gram dry (give or take a little bit).


Also - about the field...be careful. A lot of times if you ask the farmer, they will let you do it. They'd rather you ask than risk spooking the cows. Cows get scared real easy. Go the night of a big rainfall and you should be alllllllll set. This time of year (around me anyway) is big for mushrooms. Good luck!

I hear you. It may have just been a fluke, but it turned me off from growing. Given my current connects I only come across shrooms once every 6 months so I often have to bulk up which I would rather not have to do. I will look into that company. From what I've studied, and I've studied and field tested quite a few things, acid does crystalizes on your spine, but, it is nowhere near enough to ever make you trip. No matter what. All the accounts of these "flashbacks", are symptoms of PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) because it IS a very stressful time on your mental being. No matter if you have or have not had a bad trip.

Though, I have not studied this in a few months, to the best of my knowledge all of this information is rather credible, but in the end, you'll be fine flying a plane.

Mushrooms are strange for me. I find I trip really hard from low doses, while most of my friends need about an 8th to trip like I do. I think its because I started early (like, 12 lol).

On that note...a gram and a half of koh samui super had me seeing faces in every inch of every tree in the woods. KSS is your best bet if you want to grow for straight power.

SWIM just enjoys growing mushrooms...so he always does other strains. But, when hes growing and just wants the most bang for his buck, he always picks KSS ;)

Definitely a myth. I've only done acid 5 times, but I've never had anything close to a 'flashback' or any of that BS. Sure, it is a drug that changes you in many ways, but that isn't one of them.

Yeah, because it would be profitable or reasonable for a dealer to sell you coke rather than DMT.

But seriously...its real tough finding DMT unless you wanna extract it yourself. Which really isn't too simple. Its certainly not a drug for your average "lets get fucked up!" mentality. If you are just looking to trip balls and kick down your neighbors fence, just look for some mushrooms or LSD that is easier to find.

they sell alot capsule filled things i know that they have cinnamon in a capsule and the capsule is pretty big but more importantly its easy to get apart and dump the stuff out then refill and you can get a bottle of like 100 for like 5 bucks at a local drug store

i'm not a fan of the whole 'lets take drugs and get fucked up' trend either. for me drugs should be used for medical reasons or for enlightenment, personal exploration of the self and to explore changes in perception and dimensions. this may be because of my drugs of choice which are mainly weed and halucinogens. i've dabbled with coke but was left unimpressed as a whole, its fun for a short time but for me not worth the money or health risks, i do it maybe once or twice a year at most. i had a short romance with pills [vikes, percs, oxy's, adderall, ativan, xanax, rittalin etc.] when i was younger and looking to just get fucked up. i love E and find that to be a theraputic drug but i keep that in moderation, another one of those specail events once or twice a year. but i keep my daily use to just weed and i eat mushies whenever i can get my hands on them, same with acid. but i use those for appreciation of nature and dimensional exploration
