I would play more with the swirl on the Os like the second one I think has a straight C implanted and the 3rd one is a lil slop. Also maybe work more with the F like don't pull the back out so far so it ain't so hard on the letter structure.

I unno whats up with the last bit though after the O, like what that last character is supposed to be.

Oh, and you could probably make the F go across the H too but that might be a bad idea, I'd move the bar up on it a lil though.

I personally think you should make you individual letters alittle more simple, like the Z for example i like the E in that second one the best. But i think if you just did a more simple Z with some style it would come out cleaner looking.

Scratch- Krylon (known to be drippy anyway) just recently changed there chemistry content of there paint.

Hit American accents by Rusto...you can get them in some good colors from Lowes...don't give them your name and shit though, they usually ask and Rusto has this big anti graffiti thing going for it (thats even if you buy it).

hold it farther back and use cheaper paint. colorplace aluminum and red primer is all you need till you can paint drip free with it. why bother going for the rusto and krylon if youre gonna make shit anyways? even if youre racking its not good in the long run.
if you need good paint to not get drips you need to practice more, can control doesnt come with a can of rusto, it comes with practice.

Go for something easily legible and very balanced.

Your tag will then will become like Macaroni and Steez.

the best thing you can do to better your hands you should practice by doing random words and letter combos.certain letters flow better with other certain letters and practicing different combos will help you learn which ones work,and which ones dont.dont just do your name.do all types of words and also the alphabet.yeah.thats a good way.and just by checkin out the local walls with tags on em.im not saying bite or nothin but checkin other peeps stuff might help you get ideas of your own on how to rock your alphabets.i suck at explaining things and giving advice but this is what i do..

A very simple way is to use your normal handwriting, and write over and over and over and over. Write fast but not sloppy and you might start seeing some changes to letters that would look good to incorporate.

go out, look at tags, copy the letters into your own tag, molest them and then fuck with them more. It's just time. The most important ting is making sure letters "flow" the right way. for instance, my tag seems to flow outwards to the right, my mans flows downwards. Thats how I think of it.
Hope it helped. And going from marker to can is the biggest change in writing.

don't listen to the people who are telling you not to use a prisma for developing a tag. yeah they're no good to be tagging shit with because they're nice markers made for dope coloring, but your racking them so it doesn't matter.
for your purposes, they'll do just fine. i've seen some dope prisma handies. it more or less comes down to the chisel tip.
i wouldn't recommend using a magnum or pilot for this simply because the nib is so large. one tag will take up most of a notebook page.
what i would recommend you do is get a notebook at the dollar store, and pretty much anything with a chisel tip, and cover every page with handstyles.
after a few dozen filled notebooks, and a couple months of diligent practice, you should have something to work with.

A thing I learned about improving hand styles is: if you turn the letters upside down, you can sometimes get an idea for another letter that will have a different structure, but still keep the same flow so it will still match the letters that you already worked on.

Yeah this is also true. A lot of letters are so similar to other letters, sometimes you don't even need to turn them upside down for inspiration.

It depends on your mentality, some writers like it when only other writers can read there stuff, but the majority of writers work on "letter structure" so people can read there work but it highly stylized. that is a rather incorrect statement. Most writers who actually know what there doing will tell you to learn structure first and start simple no matter what. and its for a good reason. Because once you build the solid foundation 1. a certain style thats all your own and dope will come out naturally, or 2. You will have the technical skill and knowledge to explore many different styles and make them look good. Theres an underlying reason for everything, but add on's and extensions cannot really be explained, they have to be gradually developed over a couple years or more. If you havent read the new to graffiti post you really should. its entertaining and a good source of knowledge to start that foundation on.

Now your right in saying it doesnt matter what other people think. But at the same time do you want to look like a little toy scribbler or have some recognizable flow and flava? When people say go simpler. its because they have all had to do it and seen that it pays off. tags are a lil diff but just dont go over the top or try to hard. other than that stick with bars. you should know what i mean by that if youve done your homework. otherwise do it.
