I got a OTR Hard-to-buff, I like it alot. So I was like Im gonna get a empty Moltow marker cos it looks EXACTLY the same to the OTR one. I got it and thought, right lets put some silver grog in this baby. That my friends.. that was a terrible mistake. It was watery as piss and as streaky as shit. OMG Don't ever, and I mean EVER go near silver grog, unless you add something into it. The black was ok but seemed to still be watery, you either don't touch grog or mix it with something else.

how can i fix my nib
after use the end gets all gritty and ink wont flow through
im afraid if i cut it i will screw it up

if u can get the nib out, try taking it out and using the other end?
i know it sounds obvious but still

for all you guys that have problems kiwi nibs and what not, if you just wrap it in a sock it will be fine... i hate ripped nibs, i was out last night and my nib ripped haha. ohwell, marker was almost empty anyway, I just used it without a nib.. fortunately **** mops have a regulator so it wasn't like i was just dumping paint out haha. :D and those otr scarl pens are just like big sakuras right? if so, they dont seem bad..

07-18-2012, 04:46 AM

08-17-2012, 12:28 AM
The only marker I know of is the magnum. I have a Montana black silver, a Montana black... Black, a krink k-70, and a metallic silver sharpie for taggin. They all work hella good. I have two of the same color skinny and fat. They work great. Also decos are good. The only thing with Montana black markers, it they're really streaky at first, as are all markers.

08-17-2012, 12:28 AM
I mean the only marker I know of that SUCKS is the magnum... Obviously

08-17-2012, 12:43 AM
everything that is labeled sharpie

08-18-2012, 04:53 PM
Pretty much

08-18-2012, 04:54 PM
Their paint markers aren't terrible though

08-18-2012, 04:55 PM
And the metallic one.

09-30-2012, 02:53 PM
Superfine sharpie paint markers - unless you fix them. I don't know how, my friend did it.

The paint in them is definitely really good though especially metallic, its oil based so if you see a case of those motherfuckers you should grab them.

if your having trouble with markers, just put some ink in a class cleaner bottle and spray your pattern, i guess thatll do the job, perfect for over spray

12-15-2012, 02:34 PM
Uni Paints suck!

But I think its only because of the nibs which are wack

still I refilled one of those guys with Ironlak marker paint and it wouldn't even juice!

04-07-2013, 08:10 AM
the elmers painters markers

04-08-2013, 11:25 AM
Yep, definitely Ironlak Paint markers. I bought a black one as my first marker so I thought I couldnt handle it. Now I got 2 more Ironlak markers for free, and they suck so badly. DO NOT BUY THEM

05-03-2013, 11:24 PM
posterman chisel tips, streaky as fuck and dont last, plus the white is fuckin see through

06-03-2013, 10:27 PM
The fuckin montana 30mm. Nib is wide as fuck, but streaky as fuck. The 15mm is pretty dope though.

08-04-2013, 06:00 AM
I bought Posterman markers, 15 mm and 50 mm. They were pretty cheap, the 15 mm was just 3 dollar and the 50 mm was 4.5 dollar
They are water based ink and you can wash it before it dries.
Now the problem is, when you open the 15 mm one it freakin blows up! Like ink is spilling everywhere! They wroe HI-Opaque but this shit doesnt even fade pencils!
The ink is kinda normal, but I guess you wont get a hard job buffing those. The nibs are pretty good though! I dont know if you can refill the 15 mm one, but sadly the 50 mm nib can not be refilled, they wrote dont take the marker apart, well I will haha...
Another wack thing is after time without using it, the ink in the nib will get discolored, you can remove it with a tissue, but its pretty wack.
I was delighted with the 50 mm one tho, also cuz it was half the price of the MTN one

If you are practicing on a soft wall get this, but if you are serious boy then get mah MTN 94 Marker

08-09-2013, 06:33 AM
Paint pens that you buy from local art stores, every sharpie pen sucks. They dont last long, they smell and suck..

Back in like 2000 I got some markers from "The Bomb Shelter" in Manhattan called like "Poster Art" I believe. They looked cool and were about and inch and a half wide felt tipped, but they leaked. A lot. I also never really liked the grey unmarked deoderant sized ones u fill up with your own ink cuz I could never find anything big enough to write on with them most of the time. Mostly just streaks for me (i like sakuras more than sanfords); they don't fade, dont smell, and they don't look too suspicious in your pocket.

08-14-2013, 02:28 AM
krink k51
ink is easy as fuck to buff and you need pliers to open that shit so you can refill it

01-30-2014, 08:11 PM
I didnt like united cans, personly. I have MTN ink, STINKS LIKE FUCK!

02-04-2014, 08:39 PM
Sharpie king sizes are alright for a month but get streaky really quick. I find krink products to be over rated also.

02-24-2014, 01:06 PM
Testors and rustoleum paint markers dont work well for me on slaps. even elmers works better.

06-23-2014, 11:08 PM
Sharpies are shit always exploding on me

01-18-2015, 06:33 PM
I'm not a fan of molotow in general. Their stuff fades and the spray can valves are uncomfortable for some reason

01-19-2015, 11:42 AM
The montana ones are better for actual painting on canvas etc. Molotow markers seem decent, although I haven't ventured out yet, still developing my own style :) Does anyone have experience with the Molotow Tank marker and what ink to put in it?
