I thought it would be cool, if their are any poets..to share.
I write daily and I love reading what others have to say as well.
Reading someone's poetry is like solving a puzzle...

I can see it all and its beautiful..
But my guts are baking on a planchette.
I can balance on this hill outside..
and watch my insides perish.
I can see the afterlife,
I can see what was before...
But I can't see myself anymore.
My hands are on the glass,
and I'm begging to be free...
I need an exit wound...
someone put a bullet hole in me,
So I can crawl out,
bloody and used...
and so I can make a quick recovery,
from my soul being abused.
Sound just echoes.
Treble hits so hard...
like knives on skin,
getting buried deep within.
Maybe I can grasp the blade,
and escape when the last wound is made.

who writes poetry? i just fill up journals with the same name over and over and over and over and over again. its like poetry... except is dont rhyme, its one word, its rarely black and white, and o yea, real *****s do it.

ahh... poetry, my long lost love. i used to write almost every day but somehow lost my inspiration along the way and havent written anything worth reading in quite a few years. i'll post some of my older shit, i could probably take up about 10 pages with all my shit so i'll only post a few for now till some other people start contributing too. but most of my shit was written at least 5 or 6 years ago. anyways here's a few.


lets dance our bad dreams away:

so last night
we had our nightmares
and we danced them all away
as i held you
and my hands began to shake
we swayed with the rhythem
waiting for our hearts to break
and then i awoke
to my suprise
you were standing
before my eyes
and you said 'i love you'
now all my worries are gone
so lets dance our nightmares away
cause its the only way i know
that you are here to stay
and that in the morning
i will wake to my suprise
i will find you standing before my eyes
and i'll say i love you
and mean it more than you know
and this will last
even when the cold winds blow

even the white snow will grey
after a few days

rolling down the hills of green
feeling drunk and dizzy
laughing till your neck breaks
and my stomach starts to ache
our cheeks are on fire

dodging jellyfish and shells

its like being dizzy

then the clouds break wide open

falling out of love has never felt so good:

my wheels just kept on spinning
they'll melt the ice with luck
now they're finding traction

and i'm falling out of love

making you smile used to be my goal
now i've given up and fallen down the hole
but there's someone who is waiting
for me at the bottom
its me and i am whole

I am horrible at poetry and english in general.... so forgive me.

Suffering symptoms of adornment.
a little reliefe from the torment of emotion related stress.
I'm starting to wonder if I should have taken of my love proof vest.
Willingness to make eye contact replaced the desire to shy back
I find myself putting on colors insted of camoflaging myself in earth tones and black
making my self notice
I am who I present
where I've been
what I've done
and the ones I've loved
my most precious things are those I've esperienced
Every memory is golden
even if they are tarnished.
I don't show myself as perfectly varnished
The scratches go well beyond the surface.
my words are far more than simple lip service
Everything serves a perpouse
I still don't know mine and
once felt worthless
Hope and optimism have since
filled my half empty cup
much like when I was a young pup.
It feels good to come out of my hiding spot
get out of the musty stench of my prematurely
planned resting plot
