Do it propper... it looks so bad when you do 50 throws in a row, than post everrrrry single one on the net. Or like a 5 minute piece you did with fat caps. When you do that shit in van, you get your paint ganked or beat up. I think Kasp is dope. He seems to be doing his own thing, and isnt getting caught up in all the trends.

i apologize for raging out on here, its never a good look when you do that on the internet. I got a lot of love for a Kelowna, as a city, and i see you guys have a budding graffiti scene, with a lot of kids with heart and potential. I just think rather than encouraging mediocrity, you should be pushing eachother to improve. Props shouldn't be handed out like halloween treats. I guess growing up writing graffiti in Vancouver, there is a lot of adversity you face painting here when your young. Theres a lot of beef, negativity, cliques, people claiming spots, VS. And you have to EARN the right to paint spots/freights, over people. It seems like you guys have it real easy, you just do a piece, post on the net, than everyone says how dope it is. Since you guys are all friends with eachother, how about being like, yo' that piece is dope, but maybe dont do so many of the same bars, or i like that 3d, try to work on your proportions. That outline is fresh, try doing it with a thinner pen, and not so many bubbles around it. Im guessing Kelowna is lacking a lot of old school heads to set the bar. I know Who is at it, and Nohrt, and Keyes, but the younger generation has taken over the scene and is just running wild. Look at it like this... your in a small town with a pretty big scene considering, and you have spots to practice, and your at an age where you all hang out together, dont have a lot of responibilities, paint lots, do canvases, you all have the chance to get REALLY good. Theres no reason why you cant be doing productions that are in Under Pressure mag, and other zines. If your freight spots are as dope as they seem, you could be a freight king. But do it right, with big pieces and burners, ladder to door. and good outlines that your proud of. Ive bombed freights with throwies lots to, but i dont post every 2 letter ive done on the internet, and i wouldnt hit 50 ina row. Ive made all the mistakes over the years as well, stepped on a lot toes, have regrets, so im speaking from experience. Im no Virus, but Ive been a student of the game for a long time, and have a pretty good understanding of what it is.
I hope in a few years from now cats from Kelowna can come out to Van and show us how its done. Like when How and Nosm got down with KD/FX in the late nineties, and really pushed all the piecers in NYC to step their game up. Same goes for guys like Loomit, and Bates. they came from small towns in Europe, honed their skills under bridges and on chill walls and trains, than came to the US and made everyone pull up their socks. Or look at Remio. He crushed vancouver for years, than traveled abroad and killed San Fransisco. Thats a really hard city to bomb hard like he did.
Just my 2 cents, take it for what it is. Im not claiming to be the king, just another asshole with an oppinion i guess.

Truth, didnt man to come off like an asshole. just defending my homie. our frieght scene is actually pretty hurting. you dont really get a chance to do burners. its an in an out maybe hour long session. so we tend to just do two or three trains rather than burn one. but you've definately touched on some legit points.

thats pretty dope, the best one Ive seen you do yet. I like how u simplified a little bit and got rid of some extensions. The UTS is the best part. it flows well. If you cover up the bg with your hand, the uts looks dope alone. I think the beginning is a lil jumbled, try to funk the B with loopy flows like you did the S for symmetry. peace

Seriously they probably only respond to a couple complaints involving peple getting raped or maced in one day. Two young taggers promoting the use of marijuana have been caught red-handed.

The youths, 12 and 13, were busted Sunday tagging a fence next to the Wal Mart in West Kelowna.

Police say they were spray painting the tag "4:20" when a police officer caught them at 1:20 in the afternoon. Four-twenty refers to the use of marijuana in the drug subculture.

"The fact that this occurred in broad daylight where there are a lot of people in the area speaks to the brazen nature of what these two were up to," says Constable Steve Holmes.

And it would appear that the accused were determined to do some serious damage until police arrived.

"The two were arrested and eight cans of spray paint were also found in their possession."

Holmes says the youths have been turned over to their parents and are prohibited from consuming alcohol or drugs.

He says the accused face charges of mischief to property which may be addressed through restorative justice instead of conventional courts.

Graffiti has exploded in the Central Okanagan with officials stating they've never seen it this bad. \
