by shadow, do you mean 3d?
draw a line say 1'' long from each point or curve of the letter all of the exact same angle in the same direction. then connect the ends of each line with another line running exactly parellel to the original letter line. start with simple concepts like straight to the right or straight down, left etc., strictly panel style 3d till you get that on lock. then move on to beveling it, working different angles, perspectives etc.. hopefully that helps. rounded letters are the trickiest when your first starting out. you 'r' tre d is pretty mangled too eh. work wit it son.

honestly I like the pacman throwie idea and the neat name... not a huge fan of the other word/handstyle though I have seen it up a bunch, the shoes and canvas a good start, you can really see that your art is much better when you have a lot of time to do the work, so that says something, just keep putting in the work, ignore mutherfucks like that guy ^ and keep drawing, fuck bombing science, you don't need these fucks approval (no offence) "just do ur thing man, fuck what they looking at..."

yo i wanna set the record straight... i drew this shit out by hand without the help of a ruler. play around with some contrast settings on your computer and you will be able to clearly the pencil lines that would not erase around the N and E especially. i should haven't to defend my skill (yeah i'm biting, but i can still draw with out fucking tracing) ... i asked for crits not trash talk

i like those both for sure. i know i am not one to talk but it think i might dig that chem more if the wavy bar of the M was beside the E, like the C is straight and the M is ending all wavy... no diss tho, ya'll know i suck. peace.
