not to be an asshole but yeah i do know what a burner is, and the difference between a peice and a burner. a burner technically is a 3 color max fill and outline that has a tad of flavor to it. a peice is something big that takes hours usually done at a chill spot that is very technical with connections a bits haha. generally something very intricate a clean/crisp. so yeah to my knowledge without reading books and actually knowing about graff without any help but my own knowledge, a peice goes directly over a burner, end of story.
Wrong. Maybe you should go read subway art! BURNER-Originally a well-done wildstyle window-down whole car, a burner is a very good piece. Obviously, the reference to a window-down car is not applicable for pieces that are not on trains. A burner is any piece that has good bright colors, good style (often in wildstyle) and seems to "burn" off of the wall.
i dont need to read anything. in my eyes a burner is a burner and a peice is a peice two totally different things. and i have always seen it as the way i stated it. i dont need to read anything about graff to learn about it, its actually being part of graff and learning on your own or from other peers about it, so thats what ive been taught.

other than the conventional definition that someone dropped from subway art. a "burner" can also be defined as a well executed peice using lots of bright colors...certainly more than 3.
