grrrr i wanna skate but now the snow is almost all gone and left a path of mud and rocks everywhere... I hate the aftermath of winter :/ spring rain should make wash all my problems away
i skated for a few years, but the skateboarding faze happend and it got to fake for me. so i stoped it. have not skated in like 4 years, now its all about writing and bombing trains.
I've been skating about four years now maybe coming on five, I love it, It clears my mind and I am able to focus better on my shit, I find it very zen, but I see a l o t of fake ass people and you just have to learn to avoid those faggots and let the real locals come out and share the shit with you.
ya damn right^^, thats all i rock, we got this shop called Freedom here, the manager and all the dudes working there are the chillest og's in town, plus they hook me UPPPPP!
haha that is true dont support bigger companys support loacal shit like in my area its midtown shop and then alot of bmx places are joing the fad so now every bmx shop carries skateboards
well i support freedom skate shop cause they've been supporting me the last couple of years, but the big companies like girl, element, dc, and a lot of the mainstream companies are still doing their part in our skateworld, they help us progress in many many different directions, contest's, parks, sponsorship, the list goes on, but the local shop supports all the kids around the town who are broke and just trying to push, so the skaters have to find a medium to support both sides of the board, either way, as long as your buying skate products it's helping all the other skaters around you
I support no one lol... the scene here where i am from is stupid, all the guys who hang out with the guys at the shops are assholes. and the guys in the shops are even more assholes. but hey, i got a knock off DNA deck... i am satisfied, something that will do I just kinda go wherever i can get a cheap deal.
yeah i feel you, i have ONE sorta skateshop where im at. and its mostly snowboarding stuff, but they have a small skate section...and everyone who works there are dick heads, they only hire if theyre friends with you, and all that stupid shit. its wack, i wanna open like a half skate half "urban art" store. sell paint, markers books, mags, decks, all the skate shit, you know? i think itll be dope. but yeah...winter blows, bring on the summer..
it's funny cause theres about 5 or 6 other shops besides freedom in my area and all the dudes are like that^^^, but the freedom shop has some of the coolest dudes i know
yeah, we dont even have a decent skatepark either, and the one we got is outside, so it sucks, nowhere to go at all if its wet or snowy
