ok i almost use nothing but rusto. But a few weeks ago i ordered some molotow burner cans, and im in love with how spray. Any caps out there to make rusto spray lines like these, cause i know rustos high pressure. Idont know if its the valve system or not. Do you think i could put rusto in these cans and it would work like the molotow paint did?

I know marty, I was clownin...but I thought the pressure was regulated by the valve system on the cans...I'm 99% sure

yeah im saying could i put the rusto paint in the molotow can, and would it spray the same way the high pressure molotw does. Like olbek said i thought the pressure was regulated by the valve system and since the burner cans have a better valve than rusto in theroy it would spray the like the belton.Cause i cant seem to get lines with rusto like i can with belton burners..

about three to four years ago i was mixing my own paint. i tried what you just stated. I mixed rusto paint into a montana alien paint can. (thinking it was going to be low pressure due to the valve system) I was completely wrong. came out high pressure just like rusto. oh well you live and you learn.

And to the people wanting to buy these new capadapts just to mix paint. you can do the same exact thing with a ball point pen tube, and a razor. (whatever though, its your moms money. spend it how ever you want)

How to make custom aerosol Colors or transfer paint into a smaller can.

take A ball point pen tube, cut it down to roughly about two inches or so. Make sure you blow out all the ink that's inside of the ink tube.

Next make slits that resemble the slits on a Cap, on each opposite side.

now you need Any two female valve spray paint cans you want to mix, they both CAN'T be full!

take the can you want to put the paint INSIDE of, and put in the freezer for about 10 to 15 minutes. Doing this lowers the pressure of the can. (when Cold, molecules contract)

    Next,
take the can you want the paint out of and put it in HOT water for about 10 minutes. make sure its not boiling water, but pretty dam hot. (Hot molecules expand)

now once the cans are ready take the pen tube and insert it in both ends of the can. (make sure you didnt cut too deep, like i did with this demo)

*If you cut this deep paint WILL squirt everywhere when it comes down to the last step*

By this time you should have the hot can on the bottom and cold can on top, Both connected by the pen tube.

now push down on the top can and hold the straw, to make sure it does now bend or break.

If done right, you should hear a loud hissing sound and Feel the top cold can getting warmer (the pressure difference of the two cans cause the paint transfer). After a few seconds you will notice the hissing stop. Place the once cold can back into the freezer for 5 minutes and place the warm can back into hot water for the same time.

    Try the mixing process again.

**** Now once you notice no more hissing the can may be full. REMEMBER, the "cold can" will NOT fill up completely with paint, it will feel 3/4 way full. this is as full as its going to get.

Now go enjoy your custom color.

****PS. do this outside in the open air, also make sure you cover the cans when mixing with a plastic bag. just in case the paint transfer goes wrong and splatters everywhere.
