printing, processing, and developing in a darkroom is all i do. digital is not my game. film is. i spend hours on end in the darkrooms and coming home smelling like chemicals just means i put my work in. i process, print, and develop all my own shit and i wouldent have it any other way. much more satisfying.
Film is cool. But I don't have the time or money to spend learning it all. Its on my list of things to do tho. I'm looking into a digital rangefinder for out and about stuff. My d40 is nice but too noticable. Any suggestions?
You're not touching a digital rangefinder body for under $1500. There's lots of great point and shoots out there that have good lenses though.
Got thrown outta here by security for not having permission then got pulled by the police later that night
Just a quick photo from me...but literally we have attempted to explore and get to the top of this new building and each time it has failed...they have 360 dome cameras, with motion sensors, plus alarms, that sound when movment is detected, some mean ass security guards, and locked/alarmed door to the stairs....but anyway 6 months on we finally busted mad shit and managed to get to the top....i only got one decent photo I actually like...here is that mad shit!
Fuckin crazy haha. I'm not looking for a leica or anything. Tho I would love one. I could get a film rf but I am still new to photography and feel that some kind of instant playback would benefit me greatly.
Don't bother with digital rangefinders unless you can fork out the $7000 for an M9. Look into voigtlander R's, or don't bother at all. You're D40 is fine. Get this if you're into street shit. http://cgi.ebay.com/Voigtlander-Chr...ViewItemQQptZFilm_Cameras?hash=item4839174109
Scratch the rangefinder thing. I can't afford it now. Still want to get some new glass and lighting. And a computer haha
i unstuck it because there was to many assholes coming into this thread and someone who's obviously clueless about what theyre doing stuck it again :|
yer man i preferred it as a usual thread....it wasnt as busy...but it was good chat, and to the point....
I like it when its stickied only cuz I don't have to scroll all the way down. Other than that, its way better unstuck.
i won this bad boy yesterday in philly! how many people can say they have a speed racer mach 5 lamp. im super stoked on this thing i dont know why! haha i feel like im in middle school again.
I like street stuff a lot and would love to get into it more. But I think I should spend my money on other stuff. Rangefinders are sick but I think my d40 will be fine for street stuff. It's just that I stick out like a sore thumb haha
