  1. hah. fuck this message is old.

    well..if your still around.

    acrylic is water based. basically means that water can easily clean it up.

    it means if your looking into "permanent" look elswhere.

    oilbased paint seems to be the hardest to remove. throw away your dot3 and mineral spirits.

    use rusto enemal (oil base) and mix it with xylene.

    2/3rusto paint 1/3 xylene

    for aluminum, due to its amazing opaqueness u can easily mix it half and half and still remain opaque.

    hope it helps.

    if you want bright colors offered in acrylic paint then your best hope would be to mix white rusto with another base color to get something bright. but keep in mind. the brighter the paint is, the harder it is to keep it opaque.

    yo man i saw you in the ink thread and im guessing your good with this shit and you know your shit..and since im sorta new to mops and shit i wanted to know if acrylic paint is any good for mops?? and if it is what should i mix it with to make it like permanet?? i usually use 3dot nd mineral spirit thinner but thats with rusto..you have any idea about acrylics?? let me know man thanks for your help
