for bars. its exactly what it sounds like. look at ur key board. for example if u were drawing an H u would use 3 bars. 2 parellel and 1 horizontel.

as for handstyles look up caligraphy fonts....

i know this is bad, i was playing around with bars, i write daylo but i couldnt put the o in.

do that with the c, but i think u should just flip the t upside down. dont worry about drop shadow yet either, that is way off.

that looks like it says "nrusl" work on that and make it more legibal. and left dick?? u have 2?
