just a thought if you got a nice film camera with and no light meter, bring a point and shoot and fuck around in manual so you know what your settings need to be at. i don't use film, it just occured...

That shot should not be the first shot you see. It's a little blurry and there's a bit of grain. I know you've got a lot of shots that are a lot better, first impression is important.

408bomber, simplify your hand too, that will make it easier to get better at peicing because when you're working with your hand, you can learn what curves look good.
