Basically when I do a shadow I just use the next darkest shade of the base color, although depending on the paper I'm using sometimes I can wait for the ink to dry and go back over it with the same color marker and it will come out dark enough to give a shadow effect. The 2nd method never seems to work with really light colors or really dark colors though.

mmh now that you mention it..i wouldnt mind shore for 3d either..redeyes has its flaws, and blink just doesnt appeal to me. i actually did expect you to play up there as usual...
