Haha I'm actually a cool person, I just don't beat around the bush if I'm giving artistic criticism. I treat people well for the most part, but if they're looking to improve their art, I'm not going to sugar coat it. You get better by people telling you how much you suck. That's how I got better. haha.

phat- please work on your handstyle. the 2 arrows, the halo, the hatch marks, the squggilly underline is not making it look better. personally i think your letters are to far spread apart, need to be tight and uniform like in the military. this is just at first untill you can use the addons correctly without looking like your trying to wash the wackness off with addons. look at nou's. not crazy with the add's, all the letters are uniform and have the same flow. ledgible, clean. his underline complaments the "T" swoop. his addons make a bit more since. this is what i mean when your add's need to make since.

throw- better then that other shit you posted. but still needs help. the t is over lapped to much to tell what the letter is. with throws you need to have a common part about your letters and some big and small letters dont look as good as just straight up repitition of a good style. people bite toss's all day, dont try to be original with your throws out the box, bite away just watch it if you get ups. dont clame a style as your own.

piece - notice how this one is a little bit better the the last? i think its because this was a b&w battle and you didnt have to worry about the fill. crowns are a touchy subject man, your better off not adding a crown to any of your work be that an exchange or anything. your letter thickness is still off. but the structure is a little bit better. keep trying, its better, but you have a long way to go.

Nouv handy - decent street banger there. its got all the thing needed for a hefty handstyle vocabulary. not crazy, but got style. and i can read it.

toss- very nice, i really have no crit for you about this because its everything a toss should be. thats a good alphabet.

piece- i know its a black and white battle but that could be confused as a toss as well, its a bit 2 simple for a piece in my book but i think its because you cant fill it. its time for you to push your letters a bit more. lets see some flexing and bending in places. maybe 2 or 3 extentions but for the love of god no arrows on the end brotha.

my vote gos to nou for obvious reasons.

This is the most positive crit I've ever received. I really appreciate it. As for my straights, yeah I know I need to develop it. It's really basic. I'll get on it. And I'm honestly glad there weren't colors. I need tons of work in that arena as well. Again, thanks for the crits, Fube. And good showing Phat. Your piece is a lot better than the Deism battle.
