in my town there is one artist that kills and is fucking amazing i found out recently who he was and i kinda lost respect for him cause he looks like a pussy but u gotta love the pieces he does

i think one of the beuties of graffiti is that you can get respect without having your appearance judged. you put up a sick piece or a nice throwie and you get kind of a mysterious quality ya know? people think "whoever did that is awesome, they must be pretty BA." and that quality is attached to you despite what you look like..

actually yea. everybody did. he never sold a piece until he died. but i dont think it was BECAUSE he looked like shit. It's always about the art though.

yeah an artist's appearance is completely unrelated to the quality of work they produce, which is all that they should be judged by (atleast by us)

Yeah but sometimes once you see the artist it's kind of weird because you pictured him or her different. Like it shouldnt change what you think of their shit but its just awkward once you see what they really look like.
