magnums suck they dry out fast and there easy to buff unless u gut it and fill it with ur own ink.get a jumbo pilot there refillable and u can gut them too so it can hold more ink u can get them at grand and toy.or go to craft stores and grip some poster markers, the ink is crap .just pour it out and put in better ink.but
DONT WASTE UR MONEY ON A MAGNUM THEY SUCK!!!!!

you can get decos at garden ridge if you have one near you. ive found that many craft stores such as joann also carry paint pens and some have good markers too.. if you only have access to magnums, buy one.. all you do to refill it, is get a syrenge and needle from a printer ink refill kit, and push the needle through the nib to fill them with your own ink (just go to comp usa and rack one out of the box)..

the best markers are homemade markers (depending on whut you use) i have a glue pen i made into a marker and filled it with dark green ink , work better than any marker you can find on the shelve. go to art store and ask for 2 way glue pens.... youll know you found em if they look just like montanas... then get ink aand fill em... after enough times doing it i come to the conclusion to leave the glue in there its like the perfect mix to dilute the ink, otherwise the ink will be to thick, so DONT DUMP THE GLUE... leave it in there and mix it with a bottle of ink..

ya dude i got nothin against mags.. they just arent my style.. i like the drips so i overfill pilots and use on the runs.. basically a magnum can be as good as a pilot if u know how to refill it..

go to your nearest michaels and acquire some zig woodcrafts. you can control the flow, and they're refillable, and come in a wide variety of colors (besides the jumbos). My favorite is a normal sized orange woodcraft
