Hello friends, I'm Francesco from Italy and I actually need your help. I'm not a writer but I'm the project manager of an art exhibiton that the school I attend organized. We want to give the students the opportunity to show us their graffiti art, but we can't work directly on the wall; we need to know about some other kind of support on which graffiti can be made and then placed on the wall. Possibly it shouldn't be heavy and too expensive. Thank you for the help, I hope you understood the problem! Greetings and congratulations from Italy, long live art. Francesco.
[Broken External Image]:http://www.buildersdepot.com.au/images/masonite_201_229_4nov08.jpg you could try masonite (hardboard/fiberboard)... there should be sheets of it at any hardware store. its fairly cheap and pretty light, and can be painted easily.
or u could buy a roll of canvas and a bucket of primer so then afterwards you could maybe sell it or w.e.... bulk canvas is pretty cheap
Thanks for the answers guys! @Baron The students say bed sheets absorb the color too much. @Tony I'll try masonite for sure. Have a look here! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpD8llGoyOk @Stuck I'm afraid it isn't good for graffiti, but I'll try. Again thanks you and keep posting!
What about buying a roll of Butcher paper? You can just pin it up on the wall and cut it with any blade or exacto
