how do you blend the markers like on the HAL and PHASE pieces?

and added some shit to the one i posted a couple days ago,

some comments would be nice for this new style im trying...

Where are your letters? Letters before fancy effects and colouring.

theyre there...on the bottom one, the K is kinda funked out but the E and S should be pretty visible... but ya these were the first attempts aat this style, so bleh... but if i had MS paint, id show ya. but i dont. oh well. should i even keep fuckin with that style or jsut disregard and go on another path?
