also, try uni Posca pens. come in a variety of nibs and mad bright colours. i custom'd a bag with em, not so good on textiles tho, but alright for leather(esque) trainers.

As you probally know, I am a new member.

I have old converse allstars and would like to bomb them, I read the forum and it tells me the equipment but I am not sure where to start painting, middle, left or right. And do you guys start with an outline or straight to detail? A reply or guide would be much appreciated.

    - Thanks

definetly start with an outline, pencil works best if you're working with a light color shoe, always work from the toe to the heel, this helps prevent smudging. go online and try to get a template or a closely sized photo of the shoe first so you can map out how you want for it to look, If you can't do that then go into a store like famous footwear, find the chucks, and straight up practice on them! I'm not even kidding, just try and not to look suspicious, this meathod is best when you wanna try a really quick idea or a color scheme because you don't really have enough time to do a good job. But if you do somehow manage a piece in a store, switch it with the one on display for all your fellow shoppers to admire! But really the only thing you can do is practice.
