Boomerang. It's a retro cartoon channel put on by Cartoon Network. It comes on at noon but on my days off; that's morning.
Ive got a couple seasons worth of DVDs. Too expensive to buy anymore. Boomerang outweighs the DVDs.

The character looks pretty close thoght. I think you should just leave it like that without the bottom and if you ever paint it just drop it down to the bottom of the wall or a freight

I wanted to try another character. It's an octopus. Hopefully you can tell.
I need to get some practice fading colors so I messed around here and there on the tentacles. Mostly on the edges, going from dark to light to try and give it more of a roundish look. I was using a gold dot.
I used a German Outline 2 to outline the tentacles with the dots in Evil Olive. I think I was going for some kind of suction cuppy look even though I know they only have them on the bottom.
I had a lot of trouble with the eyes.
Still looking for looks on hands/feet. And now eyes. Anything helps.
Lay on the crits... I need to know what to work on.
yolko1 - not bad. work on the look of the characters front right paw though.
domakesaythink - i like the painting, it sends out a darkish feeling... but the black and yellow work nice together. and the next character's really creative. always loved the mask idea.
anion - the octo is cool, coloring looks nice. and i actually like the eyes, they're simple. somethings outta funk with the tentacles but idk, ive never tried an octopus before... maybe try like showing a little of the underneath suction cup side on just a few of the tentacles next time? cuz they might be visible.
