i have photoshop CS2... so how can i make some stencils?

So uh, I'm tryin to make some stencils, but I don't have photoshop. Is there another program I can use to make my prints?

Im using some random program called IrfanView while I dont have photoshop.
Its pretty basic and easy to use.

First, Change the image to grayscale so it is black and white, then set your contrast as high as it will go, Then just play with your brightness till you get the image the way you want it.

sorry but that wont work as a stencil, no matter what color you are putting down.
You have to keep in mind that there can be no floating bits, because you have no way of keeping those pieces there.
If you cut out the black, then all the white has to be connected.
If you cut out the white, then all the black has to be connected.
Get it?

ever heard of two layers killer? The only reason that wont work is because its a shitty image. Too much stuff going on. If you cut that out and spray through that...its gonna bleed all together unless the stencil is like lifesized. It could work I guess...but you are going to lose so much detail, i doubt it would even be worth it. If you fuck it up to bad people wont even be able to tell that its Brian Peppers. Im sure you could find a better picture...
