Nosypainter: Ha ha, yeah... I walked into Kmart and realized how perfect the spot was so I slapped a few on the way out. B)

Same as before, feel free to rip it apart to the last little detail, I want it to be close to perfect as possible.

Nah, just photoshop, haven't got the hang of illustrator yet.

Pretty much just made two layers, filled one white, set it to like 50% opacity, and traced onto the third layer using pen tool.

Cheers dude.

Warning: This critique is going to be extremely critical. So much that many of the things pointed out may seem to be trivial and a change may not actually be needed. However, it is a direct result of the request.

1) This hole seems a little too small. It's probably due to the perspective, but alas, it seems a tad too small.
2) Same deal with this hole.
3) This hole is oddly shaped, you could probably just C&P the same hole from the other side of the cassette and it would look better.
4 & 5) Either 4 is too small or 5 is too big. This problem is most likely due to the perspective.
6) The gears look great, but for some reason I feel the left gear could look a little better. Perhaps those half circle indents could be slightly deeper.
7) This corner should be slighly more rounded.

All in all, I think this cassette is dope as hell. Awesome idea. It inspires me to do something similar but every little bitch on this site would call me a biter. Cant wait to see the finished product.

Your welcome, d_g

Yep, I listen to crust and other punk genres as well...
Its nice to see considering graffiti isn't just a product of the hip-hop scene.

While Leftover Crack IS a great band, I would say they are more ska punk than crust. granted they can be crusty, i just think they have more ska punk sound in their music. and after all, Operation Ivy was a ska punk band.

~~~
I like the sticker, sky. nice colors. Are you going to finishing filling those white letters or leave them white? i think maybe they could use a little grey shading on the shadow sides or whatever, that way it gives it more depth and doesn't look incomplete
Agreed, I'd hardly call LOC crust definately more ska punk.
I'll post a pic in this post later, I'm working on mark two of the cassette sticker.
I got bored the other day: (yes, I did fix the hook in his mouth, and the fucked up circle around his head)
I got a new stencil in the works, I just finished the imaging part tonight, gonna print out and cut whenever I feel like it!!!!!!!
If you notice, the part between his arm and his leg is all white, eventually, and when I cut it out, there won't be any "hawaiian flowers" on his shirt, it'll just be a white shirt he's wearing.
yes, i know his hand is fucked up, im gonna fix that too.
I'm planning to put this stencil on electrical boxes, so it looks like he's climbing them:
If he looks familiar, it's the same little kid from my previous stuff.
