I think the only reason why people collect stickers is so if any of the artists get mainstream notoriety, like Shepard Fairey, they can have bragging rights that they have a early original from the artist.

peter reveen - good point people want their stuff to be seen where ever that might be - Internet, books, bus, wall, sign, boobs, it doesnt matter and to me stickers can be put places where graffitti cant make it and that is part of the fun. hell I have a combo in a grocery store on a goldfish rack and I add another everytime I go.
