That's why I'm diggin' the Axis wheels... BBS RS' are sweet but more than twice as much depending upon size.

Not seen too much of the whiteout look... that may be the way to go.
Not sure on the cost of painting the mesh either, but you could also look into powdercoating... it may be more durable with all the mesh on the wheel.

Either way, it'll look sick.

I used to have a GTI 20th Anniversary Edition and always wanted the Axis Hiro's on it... never got that far though.
These are the Hiro's... there's a sweet little lip on 'em.

They are. A few of my friend have them and they'll take them out mudding and some back woods courses. If I had my way though I would want an old subaru or bmw rally car.
