Have the fun in writing is that adrenaline rush, not knowing if a cop is gonna show up and all that. So if you could legally write on any wall, would you still be getting up as much?

no because every body would be doing it there would be no point, graffiti being illegal shows the passion writers have for their art. Its not for everybody.

I'd say like $200 would be fair. I mean anybody who just wanted to fuck around could raise $20 fairly easy. $200 isn't too much but people who aren't actually into it wouldn't want to waste that much on a license.

if the license thing was in place then you could still get the thrill out of it, dont buy the license and you wont wanna get caught

I would still write. If that were to happen only does who really do graff for the love of it would keep doing it. Those who only do it for the thrill of it being illegal are the ones fucking it up for everyone else. They dont actually evolve or put much time and skill into the artform they just want to be cool and do something illegal. I real writer doesnt give a shit if its legal or illegal, wall or paper, cans or markers, a real writer just writes cause its in him.

I dont think there would be room to write anymore if it was legal. Plus the entire community aspect of graff would be destroyed. Sites like this would become null and void. Awesome pieces would just get painted over within days...hours even! Fuck that man, i would probably become some bitter old man if it became legal.

even if it was legal, i'd find ways to write so it's illegal.
