with the recent influx in blogs being used to track down criminals what are the chances of cops busting people on bombing science? last week some kid got busted for graffiti on myspace, so i figured there may be a good chance that cops could set stuff up in forums. also does anyone know what rights we have if this occurs?
heres the thing, u have to be smart with talking about graff on the net, cauz the cops arnt dumb they will track u down if u directly say u pul'edl off a peice here or there, or if u post a pic of some awsome etch on a window and it has been reported and u say it was you, they will bust your ass... so everyone just be carfull and be sneaky about how u post your images and shit aye.... dont come out and say your address or a meeting place or anything at all,... ok?
a while back....maybe about a year ago, a guy came on here saying he use to be active on this forum and he was recently busted by this forum. he couldnt say much but he said he was in deep deep shit. and u could tell by what he said that he wasnt a stupid ass, writeing once a month, bitch, like most of the people on here....................... like gesus.

if you don't post anything that could lead to you personally it's all good. even if they had access to your ip addresses and shit they could not track you down. isp's don't give out personal information in canada, that's why the RIAA can't do shit to canadians. think about it. there's no law that says they have to. that's the beauty of the system. it's just not smart to start fucking over your own customers. if an isp started giving out personal info to authorities, everyone would just change isp. so the moral is don't be a dumbass.
They track paedophiles through isp's and that's way more serious than graff so what makes you think they can't get writers? If the offence is serious enough the po go see a judge, get a warrant, get any info they want. It's not like the internet is a confessional (church is probably one of the only places not covered by warrants, but they can still get info). Stop kidding yourself thinking your safe, you're not.
they usually get the Pedophiles through credit card numbers, not ISPs, the dumbasses pay for porn and then the company gets busted(because the domain has to be legitely registered) and therefore they get the company and check out which customers they have...companies have been busted all the way to India & their customers in the US have been caught this way.
but it is such a friggin rush to know you are doing something your not supposed to...all the more reason to exhibit subterfuge in related situations
