I know it's nothing special, but it's a more compact homemade marker..

Step 1: Find a flower-watering cylinder (usually green & in baskets/bouquets of flowers)

Step 2: Cut a small square piece of cloth/felt

Step 3: Use a knife to feed a piece of cloth/felt through the small hole in the lid so about 50% is exposed, and the other half is through the lid.

Step 4: Fill the cylinder part with whatever ink you want to use.

Step 5: Replace the cap & nib on the cylinder and hold the cylinder upside-down so the ink starts flowing into the nib.

The marker is handy, because of the short length (about 3"), and the fact that the cap is airtight once it's stuffed up with a nib, but I'd still reccomend a cap of some sort for the wet nib. I'm using cloth for the nib, so it presses down flat for wide, and sloppy lines. Anything more solid than cloth could potentially be used for neat lines.

Sorry for the shitty picture, I'll work on getting a better one sometime in the near future.

I've just got a scanner right now, the one in the topic is the best I can do right now.

Edit: I'll make a tutorial once I borrow a camera from somewhere-

I'd say it would heavily depend on what kind of ink & nib you were using, so let me get a couple of each, first. :|

So far, well, at least with this ink, it's working a lot better on rough surfaces-

Alright, fuck this drippy shit. Gonna go make some paint mix and see how that works, rather than using a waterbased ink.

Made the paint mixture, having a bit of a flow problem, but it looks a lot better when it actually does write. With this ink it's a lot more thin/drippy.

I cut off the tip and stuck some felt in it ..just havent made any ink or anything to put in it yet. You can find them at walmart or any automotive story id assume.. It was just left over from my car. Its small as hell and already has a little mixer ball thing in it..

    heres a pic ...
